The drugs don't work. .

Drugs are not designed by medical doctors so these are all the wrong interviewees.

The smoking gun you need, if it exists, will come from medicinal chemists who design these things.

Do you have any material from the actual scientists who design drugs?

If there is a genuine conspiracy, you find people from that group who will talk.

You dont need a string of dodgy Youtube videos. Have a look at Chemistry World to see regular news of pharma companies actually being fined by courts. Read actual news instead of this nonsense that you are posting.

You were found out the day you posted that you agreed with primary school infants being given psychiatric mind altering drugs ,  to "control" them. .

You have bill & Ben the flower pot men on your case. Doctors in America give out drugs nilly willy to patients who don't need them according to CNN the other day. It's a multi million pound legal drug cartel. LSD was tested as a Milatry chemical weapons by the US until it banned it in 67. It was used by the rave dance culture in the 90's. The Beatles had a massive hit with it in more ways tthan one.

Coming from someone who believes that panthers are roaming Scotland that's rich.

Whilst I agree the principal reason for the post is perhaps at least questionable, there is a greater underlying issue attached to chemists and prescription management.

There seems to be a trend of chemists now encouraging you to apply for more drugs or treatments through the NHS prescription service (as they cost nothing to you in Scotland) when in fact they aren't being necessarily asked for by the patient, or they can be bought over the counter.

As an example, in a  prescription where you as the patient manages to cut down on your intake, yet the chemist keeps supplying you on repeat, rather than you managing the process by request to the surgery. Alternatively you go in and ask to buy a specific item and be told that you can get that on prescription. All you have to do is fill in a form and they then issue the item to you.

Given this trend, it is not difficult to understand why NHS funding is constantly under strain.

This is not a political comment, but I really don't get why here in Scotland we expect and get prescriptions FOC whilst in England they cost £8.80? If you don't have to pay you will take it and if you don't use it, throw it away, if you have to pay you, you might at least think twice before taking it................. I just don't get it.

Its a vote catcher. Just like ending bridge tolls, scrapping tuition fees and freezing the council tax - all to win the middle class vote and all funded by taking away from the poorer sections of society.

We have a right wing nationalist government in charge in this country!

You say all this as though it's a bad thing.

I love all of those policies.

Imagine wanting to stop sick people receiving the drugs they need because the government is charging them for the drugs at the point of need. Glad we dont do that. Not sure how poor people lose out here.

Imagine wanting to allow councils to simply increase council taxes by as much as they want without forcing them to apply financial controls. Glad we dont allow that. Not sure how poor people lose out her either.

Imagine treating education as a cost rather than an investment. Glad we dont do that either. Poor people get to go to university for free. Not sure how they are losing out either.

You know Wendy, I am not sure you have thought any of this through at all.

That's not answering his post.

Deflection.

He doesnt have the technical background the challenge me properly on any of this which is why him and the numpty from Bute are forced to rely on conspiracy theories.

They should have the good grace to either complete the 14 years of necessary education, quote the right type of scientists, or they should stop embarrassing themselves by posting this tripe.

There is an endless list of medicinal chemists who will whistleblow about the disgraceful practices within pharma companies.

I told you where to find them.

Have you found any yet?

You know Wendy, I am not sure you have thought any of this through at all.

Not sure how charging folk that can afford to pay prescriptions £8 odd is stopping them receiving the drugs they need when sick.

Not sure what freezing council tax has got to do with forcing councils to apply financial controls.

And asking those who will benefit the most from further education to treat that education as their own investment by taking out loans that are only repayable when they are earning good money seems fair enough to me.

You know oaksoft. I know for sure that you haven't thought any of this through at all. :P
