faraway saint
Anyhow, Anderson now sitting as 5th favourite to lift the title at 9/1. I should have had a flutter at the start.

Next up MVG v Bunting, could be a cracker.

Too good, Bunting cracked under pressure. Smith v Dobey up next, I can see an upset.

faraway saint
The year is 2043 and Luke Littler has just won his 20th consecutive world title. He is just 36 years old.
faraway saint
Just watched the game of the tournament. Dobey was 4-0 up in set in a race to 5 against Robb Cross. Cross, unbelievably, comes back and wins 5-4. Darts, brilliant drama. Next up, the schoolboy v Dolan.

faraway saint
MVG loses out, another higher seed out. What a year it's been for upsets.
faraway saint
Littler, the 16 year old, wins 6-2 in the semi final. This boy is certainly living up to the hype. Quite unbelievable.

Quite unbelievable. Littler plays the pre tournament favourite Humphries tonight. I've no doubt he can win it as he was put under pressure last night from Cross and continued to score well and pull out the big finishes. If he was to win it, you think it would be as big as Becker winning his 1st Wimbledon title?

Not sure if it could be seen as a bigger achievement with more players playing at a higher level than in bygone years but not really that important. Although looking at him there might be some debate about his age. 🤣
faraway saint
Heard an item on the radio on the way home the signs are this final could see the largest viewing figures ever for a darts final. Kicks off about 8:15, could be a classic.
portmahomack saint
Put this on after a wee day out at the game yesterday they say you should never gamble when boozing so I really should cash this out if I had any sense. But if I had any I wouldn't gamble in the first place.. so I'm doing the next best thing covering my stake.. as the wee fella is some player

faraway saint
Well, the youngster was all over the place for a set and a half, THEN he found his range, winning the set 3-2 with a 142 and 120 finishes. Game on.

faraway saint
Now the discussion is should Littler get an invitation to the Premier League darts money making tournament. Certainly be of interest but it could all go wrong. Personally I'm in favour, could really harden him up and see him fulfil the potential. Well, the draw of the 16 year old sensation has proved too strong to resist as he's IN the Premier League extravaganza. I hope it makes him stronger and he can compete with the big boys on a weekly basis. The worst that can happen is he gets pumped almost every week and makes even more money. Oh, his 21 year old girlfriend will be happy.
StanleySaint
I was going to say I hope he doesn't become the darts Raducanu.
