The problems that Ukraine are giving Russia, with considerable support, have led me to kinda agree that Europe could more than hold their own.  A major worry is Putin is close to madness he could easily "push the nuclear button" which is a game changer, and that's for us all sitting in our comfortable "safe" wee country.  Yes, the midterms could cause Trump problems but they're not until well into next year, a lot can, and probably will, happen before then.  Worrying times.
