Aye Docherty credentials have taken a bit of a nosedive but McInnes rated him so that is a plus for him. Not sure we need him to be honest. Young i think was someone that Robinson had on his radar for 2 seasons but I agree with you on him.  Devaney is class. Campbell would have been a Robinson signing also ? IMO a good one once up to speed. Having said that Park was outstanding at Celtic. On Carl Robinson I feel his management career is mixed, no experience of Scottish football and I feel we should take our time if the options aren't right.  Every appointment is a gamble but for a club like St Mirren its vital. Get it wrong and it Championship and potentially for quite a while.

Fair enough. We will agree to disagree on Rangers performace and Docherty's credentials. I get Aberdeen were a basket case but he was brought in to help and clearly didn't. Awful at County as well where he lasted less than 4 months. (even Kettlewell has done better 🤣) Lets be honest you don't know that the senior players are impressed with McLeish and you have absolutely no idea what Carl Robinson would bring to the club. Park has brought in Young and Devaney. Both have proved to be better than we have and Young is no where near match fit yet. Etete does look like a mistake and jury is still out on Campbell who was always going to take time to get match ready having had no club since May. I'm not against going with McLeish & Co till the end of the season and I'm not sure I trust this board to get it right but they are in a better position to make a choice than you and me are.
