    • We need to look beyond the ideology and see the ultimate goal. I, like you, have been disillusioned by the performance of the SNP in government but they remain the only VIABLE vehicle to try to force a referendum after all the lies that influenced the last one. I would ask others to vote for independence and, when and if there is another assembly election, show your rightful displeasure of them by ousting them from power. It should be seen as two entirely separate issues. I will NEVER vote for SNP in its present guise in a Scottish election. I will however, see the bigger picture in a UK election.
    • Imagine still standing by the Tories 😂😂 what a laugh.    How’s that recovery going? Last time I checked the UK still had  - far higher taxation than 2010 when the Tories came to power - far higher debts & deficits  - declined NHS parameters such as waiting lists & emergency care - declines in living standards with more forecast  - record bills & almost no reversal on last years cost of living crisis  - decline in social care, dental care, schooling, a housing crisis, record net migration, record undocumented migration, failing privatised water services. The list goes on.    If someone went into a casino with £1,000, lost £950, then won £50 back in their last roulette spin. Would that give you reassurance on their ‘recovery’  But no, this next term is when the Tories turn it all around because they grew the UK economy by a tiny fraction in the last 12 months. 😂😂
    • John Swinney's performance in Holyrood today in response to the outcome of the Matheson cross-party report was outrageous, breathtaking, and a massive own goal. His defence of his mate Matheson (who attempted to steal £11k from us) and his condemnation of the "biased" report is an off-the-scale misjudgement of public opinion in Scotland. The scumbag Matheson deserves to be jailed for what he did - a 27 day ban and the loss of 54 days wages is barely a smack on the wrist. There will surely be a political backlash against the SNP at the general election if they manage to have this penalty overturned in Holyrood.
