I see the war in Ukraine is, erm, hotting up again. Musk denying Russia access to Starlink (equivalent of a cheat code in the drone war ) seems to have shifted the advantage towards Ukraine currently, but Russia has and will always have the option to go, erm, ballistic! There's an extent to which this is a proxy war whose origins lie in Ukraine being woo'd away from Russia towards the West. Russia's aims in starting the war were to secure a land route to Crimea, along the Sea of Azer, not traditionally part of Ukraine and where the Russians have shedloads of weapons and to restore their proxy control of Ki-ev - let's reclaim our right to call furrin places the way we want .  The prospect of the latter is gone for good, the question is whether Putin and Zelenskyy (2 y's) can come to an agreement. While I still think that the invasion was unjustified act of aggresion I've thought for a while that Zelenskyyy (3 y's) is just as bad as Putin. If a peace process can't be started now chances are we'll have to wait until Mad Vlad exits stage left (followed by a bear 🐻)! All I am saying is Give Peace a Chance! 💞

Indeed.  As you say, unlikely we'll know the exact numbers but everyone with any sense will see we've done OK, and could get even better. 👍
