The longer the game went the stronger and more confident we became, all be it without really looking like getting an equaliser. As the confidence grew it was nice to see some good passing moves develop, so credit to the interim management team for this as they probably only had two sessions to work on anything. Hopefully Devaney will take a boost in confidence from playing against one of the better teams in the league and he did not look out of place at all.
The news on Baccus is terrible and with all the other long term injuries, we will need all the remaining squad until the seasons end, so don't see the point in singling poor performances out.
I thought Freckleton was immense at the back and far more like himself, Goga was prime Goga, Devaney will get better every game, and I thought the much maligned Donnelly was very good.
It was also pleasing to see us move away from that stupid kick off that has served us so well...😮
