Dry and dark at the minute but forecast to be wet most of the day.
Reasonably mild, 6 deg, but cooler than yesterday.
Almost the weekend although nothing much planned although Mrs Faraway might have other ideas.

Can't remember trains being called off so quickly/early.
I believe after the loss of life up at Stonehaven that they are being extra careful not just in case of compensation claims but for the safety of the staff and public.
Was a pleasant 9°C at 5.10am in Paisley. Didn't think it was that windy until I tried to open the car door at the work. Thought I was going to have to put my shoulder to it to open it. [emoji23] -

A bit blawy overnight so all the trains were cancelled again.
Yet adverts for train tickets are all over the tv.
Anyhow, it's dry right now and forecast to be quite a nice nright day reaching 9 deg.
Finishing a wee bit early today, dentist visit.
She's a very tasty dentist, that makes the visit worthwhile.

Dry, at the minute, but to be heavy showers throughout the day.
Milder than last week, forecast to be 6 deg.

No damage whatsoever for us, which is a relief as there was plenty of evidence of debris all over the roads when I drove to work this morning.
Turned a bit cold again, only 3 deg on the journey home.
I see the trains are off again from tomorrow evening into early Wednesday.
Thank feck I don't use trains on a regular basis.

I'm sure the majority of us expect to lose, but...it's football and the beauty of the game we love is that the expected doesn't always happen!

Aye, if it was that straightforward the bookies would be skint.

Trees and sign-posts down in Inverkip and my Buddy on Tiree had a caravan (not his) blown into his garden.

Been blawing a gale all night, hope there's not any damage to my fence, only painted it last summer.

Not long home, to be fair we were never in any danger, 2 disallowed, hit the bar, had a couple cleared from or near the line and Gogic's header was a cracker. Other than that McMenamin is a waste of a wage and Jamieson was all action when he came on.

Well, that was pretty easy.
Filled the motorhome up, over £90, went down to the beachfront with a granddaughter and Mrs Faraway safely inside.
Never took the dogs this time, small steps and all that.
Oldest granddaughter popped round from her work for a quick 15 minute visit.
Very scenic with the rain lashing down and the waves crashing into the seafront wall while we were very cozy as the gas fire was fired right up.
TV worked fine , as did Netflix so that's all good.
We all had a wee snack, roll and sausage, and added a few more things to the "list" of things we'll need.
Only minor hiccup was Mrs faraway, who had bought a kettle earlier today, forgot cups so no cup of tea.
I'm sure we'll have plenty of little issues like this in the months to come, worse things happen at sea.

Very short trip planned tomorrow, the petrol station for starters then down to the seafront where oldest granddaughter is working so we'll pop in and surprise here.
One of the younger granddaughters will be the first passenger, along with the dogs.
Sit down and look out at the seas, make a cup of tea and just chill for an hour.

To be an incredible 8 deg tomorrow and wet.
Almost all the snow and ice is already gone so that'll take care of the few remaining we areas of slush etc.

Big day, defeat is not on the agenda.
A comfortable win preferred but ANY win will do to make sure we're in the draw for the next round.

I knew he'd resurrect Big Yards, it's highly amusing, if predictable.
Up at the same "stupid O'clock" and still persisting that he's not Shull.
Same old shite.
Anyhow, the thaw continues, really making a difference to the conditions underfoot, especially for the dogs who've hated the freezing snow/ice.
Not a lot planned today, granddaughter staying over tonight so it's a great chance for me to watch an animated movie, brilliant.

Makes you wonder [emoji23]
Bloody body clock doesn't take into account its the weekend. I need my sleep, I've got a big cup game to officiate at later, weather permitting of course.
Press button, blinds open, roofs opposite look OK, so it's not been snowing, don't hear rain on windows, so it's dry and by the looks of the trees it isn't windy either.
Blinds now been closed and its turn over and try to get some more sleep before my alarm. [emoji112]
