This has came about as the Tory Party has turned into the England National Party.
Really I can't be bothered about the whole thing as been shown especially the last few years. Politics in the UK is corrupt as feck and now don't even try to hide it. Country ran by the media and mandates which were first came to the light in 1930 Germany. The world has flipped its lid

It wasn’t a democratic vote.
it was a “non binding referendum” which presented a stupidly close result, based on a minimal representation of the GBP…. that was then accepted and implemented by corrupt and inept politicians of both big parties.
It WAS a mistake, though. That bit is accurate.

windae cleaner reacted to northstbuddie in Jim Clunie
Jim Clunie was probably the best centre half who has played for St Mirren in my lifetime.
He was also the most skilful defender in Scotland in his era but was overlooked for international caps because of the bias within the SFA towards inferior Old Firm players.

We haven't scored a single goal in Perth in our last 7 visits.
Must be a record

I agree totally
If we show a bit of tempo and energy we could get something
But he will play Main hope it will stick and play into their hands

Hopefully
We need points to be safe
Top 6 is shite anyway
We don't go to the games involving the gruesome twosome so what's the fuss

Only remember it as The Elbow Room.

Calside
This weeks 'then' Photo from the Heritage Library shows the Calside-Causeyside-Neilston Road gushet as it was back 59 years ago in 1963. The old tenements of 6-10 Calside and those of Stirling Street are newly demolished to make way for the Maisonettes which replaced them, with the loss of Stirling Street from the Map altogether.
In the foreground is the 'Hygenic Fountain' Gifted by George Hamilton of Blackland Mill Circa 1900 with the underground Toilets in the shadow of the building to the left. and ahead, is the Craig Dhu Pub housed in the tenement built for Publican Alexander Adam back in 1906 by local Architect John Albert Rennison. The Police Call-box on the Kerbside has long since gone, with the more recent loss of the Public Telephone Box

Talk about fuel prices
I see the price of oil has went down by 25% the last 3 weeks but the prices on the forecourt haven't

It probably is but none of that claim went into NHS
Just another promise broken

I thought Brexit was going to provide extra money for the NHS

A furlough scheme that disproportionately subsidised BIG, rich corporations that (in the main) would/should have had ample and sufficient reserves ready for just such an occasion…. airlines, Banks etc..
once again, those who gained most from this appear to have been those companies that had “kindly” donated to the party in power.
I agree that the principle of the scheme (like the one to provide health protection) was sound.
sadly its disbursement was as flawed as the PPE one was/is.

Yes , I could move down south and have :
Higher council tax
pay for prescriptions.
Increased dentist bills …. If you can find one .
Tuition fees : I know how much our daughters College fees were down south .
I see how much both my kids pay for things like water bills down south (23% increase last year for my son.)
Mind you , they’ve got to pay for that track and trace somehow 🙄 Could’ve built 20 ferries that don’t work for the cost of that, which didn’t work 🤔😉

Met the man last Friday up at Springburn AstroTurf. Very well spoken and has a real love for dogs. The hardest player I saw at Love Street preferred him in midfield though

Ta, TPAFKA!
Thank you for your concern, but relax…. It isnae eating me up.
I just prefer the truth. And despite craven Scottish media and the corrupt Scottish Football authorities currently all wanting every idiot to submit to the big lie in order that they may make money out of bigotry, I’ll persevere with pointing out the truth.
Like Galileo and James Hutton, I’ll stick to the truth knowing that inevitably, the world will eventually see the light.
if nothing else, the truth upsets bigots and bawbags.

A somewhat tense nervy encounter, but a great three points, well done Saints.
