I agree Baird has been poor recently but ye surely can't discount the fact that he is playing under alot of pressure and alongside someone who I've always considered to be highly overrated. He is one of our own and I have no doubt he will develop into a decent centre half! I say get Webster to fcuk and find someone who wants to play for us and help develop our young players!

Forwards don't have to be banging in goals to be good players for the team, you only need to look at the boy Ulloa at Leicester to realise that. Billy grafted like f**k and assisted in alot of the goals we did score by dragging defenders out or putting them on their arses!

I understand the clear the decks mentality, but Goodwin has played for the jersey this season and is exactly what we need in this league. He deserves respect from the club and fans! I am certain we have the base of a good team but are desperate for a top manager who can get them to play. I just hope it's not too late!

Just watched the Aberdeen game and seen that Jamie was one of the pundits which got me thinking, here we have out first choice keeper, who lets face it is only awrite as a goalie and even that is at times. He is clearly only with us to see out his career and possibly has his mind on more long term projects. Our club should have a keeper who is at the top of his game (or damn close to it) and concentrates all his time on his St Mirren performances. Giving him the no1 shirt was a mistake by Murray and the whole thing shows that the manager and board are happy to accept compromises. If you read this Jamie then it's nothing personal but we the fans demand and deserve 100% commitment to the club!

Canny agree with that ah'm afraid, it appeared to me that he intentionally booted the ball with force into the crowd. Call it a rush of blood or something like that but he wasn't playing for time to organise. When he realised what he done he shat it hence the apologies. If he booted the ball at an opposition player for instance when he was on the deck he would've been sent off!

What part of 'this is UKCC bid money' do you not understand, if we are successful then how can that possibly be regarded as no benefit to the people of paisley? The status and the events that will take place will give the town a huge boost!

How is this wasting taxpayers cash? The council will have a budget for the UKCC bid and from that a budget for marketing. If the decide to send some cash the way of local businesses and in particular our club I would say it's great use of the cash!

Don't agree we need a clearout of players, seen enough of Mallan, Shankland, Gallagher, Morgan, Naismith, Baird Kelly and even Howieson to know that they are talented young players. Add in Webster and Agnew you have a decent core of player at this level. I am sure a quality manager could, with the addition of one or two players, turn us round and into a competitive championship team. Thommo and Goodwin can imo go now knowing they have given there best and have been great players for the club!

How do you figure things will either get better or stay the same? Don't know if your aware but there are two divisions below ours and you only need to look at Dunfermline to realise what can happen to teams like ours.

Nothing rose tinted about an 8th place SPL finish! Sure we were rotten at times under Danny but he took us to our highest league position in over twenty years!

Sorry bud but you have to play your opposition. Any team of Scotlands standard that comes out and attacks Germany in the way you describe will ship at least four goals to them. Thomas Muller is possibly the best player in the world at positioning and being in the right place at right time! The performance against Georgia was far more disappointing than last night!
