  1. That's the one scenario I Don't envisage. Our teams confidence is fragile at best. IF we lose the first recent previous tells me we'll lose more.
  2. No. But he was apparently found Crying inthe chapel!!!! :-)
  3. Can't disagree with the first part. As for McGowan. Sometimes a player needs a "rest" when they're off the boil to allow them to refocus. I think it should have been done a wee while ago.
  4. Danny has a real dilemna for this one. The team coped without Goodie yesterday and United's young guns have plenty of pace. Does he stay with our youth to match up the vitality and drive or does he put a slower but more experienced campaigner alongside those lads? I think I'll forget about this game until nearer the time and instead enjoy my wee break in Tunisia basking in, hopefully, the sunshine AND the afterglow of a good performance and win v Killie.
  5. Well done to all concerned. I agree whole heartedly. Anyone else say, "WTF?", when Danny made the substitution? I was left with egg on my face but that egg has never tasted soooooo good!
  6. The bottom line is, if we manage a win today, we move up at least one place. It's not impossible, though highly improbable, that we could move into seventh place. That's how tight this league is. Even though this is not likely the players MUST go onto that park with positivity and go for the jugular. There shouldn't be a player with anything left in there tank if we don't get a victory. If there is then they are failures to themselves!
  7. Look guys. I know things seem desperate but, REALLY? What is the point in taking a punt on a punk, anb unknown quantity as far as management at this level, who openly professed his love for the now defunct animals of govan simply because he helped to win a trophy over a manager who openly professed his love for our club and won us a trophy? We need to be sensible if we are to replace Danny.
  8. FFS. That's the worst comeback you've ever made Shull. And you have had a few "doozies"!
  9. You don't appear to understand the way these things work. That particular offence wasn't perpetrated by Jim Goodwin. Do please keep up!
  10. I'll be at the game but I cannot see us getting anything from it. I have staunchly stood by Danny but I can no longer do so. At the very least the players don't seem to be playing for him. If they really backed the manager I'm sure we would see more from them. (McGinn aside but I think that's just in John's natural game). I would expect to see blood and guts. Fighting for every ball. That isn't what appears to be on show. The players do need to carry some of the blame but, at the moment that's not the main point. It's paramount that we end this dismal run as I can't see this squad surviving a battle in the play offs. Sorry Danny but I've finally joined a brigade I loathe to admit to be affiliated to. I never wanted to ask for someone to lose his job and I hope you find something else sooner rather than later but it must be time to part company.
  11. I know a lot of people hate wholesale changes but this game calls for a radical shake up. We're in a downward spiral ATM. The backline should be without Cheesey. Goodwin stays alongside McGregor. I personally don't think Newton did too much wrong at right back but maybe we should see the return of Kelly or even revert to the old guard and EDD as the holding midfielder. Hopefully getting fitter. His distribution of the football will definitely be a plus. Midfield should exclude McGowan. He's been rank for a while now and needs a boot up the bahookie. (Not to be confused with Bahoken as I don't want him to disappear altogether!) I don't know if Wylde will cut the mustard but we need to find out so it should be a midfield of Campbell/Teale, McLean, McGinn and the aforementioned Wylde. Up front I think Thommo deserves the rest and could be benched with the intention of bringing him on fresh latterly. Magennis in in place of the Hawk.
  12. Not to be pedantic, , but when did McGinn play in any final against Wanyama?
  13. Perhaps part of the reason for the "loan" being required might be due to their inability to do ANYTHING right. The picture here is not a mock setup. It was really printed, in their thousands I might add, to promote the upcoming quarter final tie v, (if you were a THE rangers employee), WHO?
  14. If your talking about Poz's fantasy, I don't think even something as potent as rohypnol would seal that deal!
  15. FFS! I try to ignore Dickie and you keep putting a plumbers spanner in the works by quoting the plumbing spanner as he plumbs the depths. It appears the only intelligent, non gullible scot is the one who I try to ignore. Well, in his own small mind anyway! !
  16. He also did wel on the one occassion that Grainger played on the same side as him.
  17. I think Rooney would still have to move into an onside position BEFORE the ball hits a Saints player as he would be deemed to have come from an offside position.
  18. In case you want your own copy. Download dvd videosft from http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm and you can copy from youtube. Hope this helps. Edited to add. Best be quick in case it's taken down.
