  1. FFS! I try to ignore Dickie and you keep putting a plumbers spanner in the works by quoting the plumbing spanner as he plumbs the depths. It appears the only intelligent, non gullible scot is the one who I try to ignore. Well, in his own small mind anyway! !
  2. He also did wel on the one occassion that Grainger played on the same side as him.
  3. I think Rooney would still have to move into an onside position BEFORE the ball hits a Saints player as he would be deemed to have come from an offside position.
  4. In case you want your own copy. Download dvd videosft from http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm and you can copy from youtube. Hope this helps. Edited to add. Best be quick in case it's taken down.
  5. Kello Goodwin McAusland McGregor Teale/Naismith Gowser Djemba Mcginn Wylde Campbell/McGowan Thommo/Magennis
  6. I saw enough to think he'd be a good asset when match fit. Unfortunately we need him to be fit NOW. I guess he'll be good for his next club.
  7. It might not. THE rangers may just manage to survive. After all it's lasted all of two years already!
  8. I wouldn't go for it. Sounds like a sh!te package if you ask me.
  9. Exactly. I just wish those who want independence but NOT the SNP afterwards would voice the fact it isn't inextricably linked. In fact I think the YES campaign would have a far better chance of succeeding if they informed voters of this fact. Once negotiations have taken place there is no reason why the electorate can't vote for THEIR choice of government. The SNP would have no real reason to be nor would anyone have reason to vote for it after it's base policy was fulfilled and I would bet that it wouldn't be long till their seperate factions joined their natural parties.
  10. Oh, you are a wag Oh you are a wag. Or, in both cases, I'm sure it starts with a W
  11. In some cases, BEFORE the cup final!
  12. Nearly there but, without inside knowledge as to WHY we have reduced our playing staff, ie Budget?, I'm not quite there yet. More importantly. What about Torfason? Though I can't prove it, I believe his goals to chances ratio was fantastic.
  13. Scientists have proven that goldfish actually remember things for at least three months. Firstly. It could be more but the geeks probably forgot to feed the poor sods and they died and, secondly, why the fcuk did they bother investigating the memory span of the fish in the first place?
  14. They'll say it's only the tip of the iceberg. Didn't think I had to be that obvious for the more literate amongst us.
  15. Come on Oakie! The cost of smoke breaks? The cost of ASSUMED absence from work? The cost of cleaning up ciggie butts? ASH obviously have no axe to grind, do they? What about taxing crisps to the hilt? What about coca cola or pepsi. Do the clean up merchants just leave those containers on the ground and solely concern themselves with the fagends? Talk about massaging figures to suit an argument! I doubt they'll admit to this though. They'll say it's only the tip of the iceberg and continue to draw conclusions! Talk about a smokescreen! (Edited to add a pun.)
  16. Oakie. A few years ago the Daily Record had a rundown of tax from tobacco and the cost of treating smoking related illnesses. It transpired that the state had a net gain. I have the piece somewhere at work and will post it when I find it. Now. As I said previously. I am an EX smoker of some 17 years so I have no bias in this.
  17. WAY before my time Danny. Heuchter teuchter music wasn't my thing man. Anyway. How can I admit that someone who sang in the Eurovision song contest came from my neck of the woods?
  18. Now there is something which REALLY irks me. I have him on ignore yet I can still see his nonsense if someone sensible,.... (or you Poz! ), quotes him!!!!
  19. It doesn't matter who gets the profit. As it is with the ciggie debate, (and I am an ex smoker who gave up years ago, NOT because of any financial impact. Simply a choice made as an free thinking adult), it is morally wrong to, on the one hand take funds from goods, or force others to change their price structure upwards, with the excuse that you are trying to reduce intake from minorities. What next? Tax people for not excercising? If ANY government wants to claim the high ground they should, IMO, legislate to make the offending goods illegal and wean people off the stuff. I don't believe the majority of law abiding, "social drinkers" should be prevented from reducing costs because of market forces. This piece of nonsensical, nanny state legislation is what I hate about the SNP. I will be voting for an independent Scotland but I will not support the SNP or any faction formed after the vote. HIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Aye. Wish we had signed a left back in the summer!

  22. I hope you're not pulling his leg the faraway. (That's the chef's job)
  23. That was one of the very few games my dad and me managed to watch together as he wasn't a big footie fan. I remember standing at "Cairter's corner" with a few United fans around us. Drink was flowing as we shared alcoholic beverages and, by the end of the game, the opposing fans were singing Saint's praises so well we played. Great day out.
