I’m most definitely not ITK but I expect he was sacked for his wasteful recruitment policy. Or possibly for his apparent poor man-management/motivation skills. Or possibly for his baffling team selection. Or possibly for building a poor management team. Take your pick, I just hope he wasn’t sacked for his demeanour or for choosing to sit in the dug out.
I’d forgotten Kpekawa was a left back and not a central defender. That explains a lot.
Doesn’t explain the lack of transfer activity considering we only have 2 fit CBs on our books.
Not sure if the country can sustain a 16 team league. Definitely think some stability is required and I believe this would be the ideal season for the SPFL to experiment with no relegation.
Not sure what point you are making in response to my post but if you mean most people thought we would lose more games to Livingston than we would win then we might as well chuck it now.
During every close season they take away the old seats and replace them with narrower ones. They’ve been doing that for years now.
Pass me a pie would you?
Nostalgia ain’t what it used to be. As an old fart I can’t imagine loving the “new” place. Entering through a vomitary has nothing on climbing the slope up to the North Bank. Midweek games crammed against thousands of buds trying to identify players under the dimmest of floodlights are some of my strongest memories of the 60s/70s. Still I appreciate many new fans (as in younger) have an affectation towards our Lego land stadium and fair play to them. I’m sure I’m not the only fan who still says I’m going to “Love Street” on Saturday.
Thought we started pretty well and their first goal was against the run of play. Expected us to have a bit more energy in the second half but we really didn’t make the Govan team break sweat.
That’s just daft. What was Samson supposed to do with a forward charging towards him with every chance of scoring? The mix up was was certainly not his fault and I’ve no doubt he did the right thing. His save was the icing on the cake.
Fantastic way to start the season. Half way through the second half I would have happily taken a draw but to have competed against and ultimately beaten Dundee with a team that is still work in progress was brilliant.
Mullen and Smith both gave everything and I’m delighted they’re playing for us rather than against us. Need to mention big Ross Stewart, he’s a big improvement on the player he was before going out on loan. Hope the Ross County transfer isn’t the “done deal” some people are talking about.
