  1. This is our club, our team ,our players We are the supporters to encourage and motovate players as we have through many relegation battles ,and we have achieved our aim by our combined voices We support to the last minute of the last game Simple
  2. We will win any play off, but big problems come right after that ie new management team ? all loan players leave, all free agents move on, what are we left with? and not forgeting we have a BOD, silent so far , still not for investing into the club, going to be some summer
  3. Where is the BOD in this debate ,come out and back him or sack him, stop hiding
  4. Lets have no music and tell that eejit that shouts COYS to shut up
  5. No point hating JD , they put a lot of cash into the club, its the BOD that agrees the deal, they can control the number of strips that are purchased, they do not listen to their own fans, nor look to the future, ie the kids left without. This is inbreach of their duties as directors of the company
  6. We once signed stevie archibald and .....
  7. Join the trust ( SMIA) I think they will be needed if we go down
  8. The shareholders who informed the club they did not want to be contacted electronically have not received the invitation nor the abridged accounts
  9. Am I right in saying we are only yards from where we played our first original game against Abercorn? The stadium, or park was called Westmarch It was also the starting game for James Dunlop, a great player , scored a winning goal against Celtic but died at only 22 from a cut on his knee There was a lounge in love street named after him but thats been dropped, there is a monument in woodside with the dedication from st mirren fans We should rename our stadium wesstmarch and name a stand after James , puting some history into our new ground
  10. Buying existing shares from anyone is not investing one penny in the club. The club releasing unissued shares would be investing in the club but it would mean the cartel losing power as their 52 percent would drop It is all about power , not the long term success of our club
  11. As I have mentioned elsewhere the buck for this should land at the board table Directors duties include 1) duty to promote the success of the club( including acting fairley as between all shareholders.) This current board will not spend one penny over their budget at the same time rejecting any investment from any source 2) duty to exercise independent judgement By forming a cartel their is no indepentent judgement , every move by the board is to protect Douglas stret ltd , the company that owns the 52 per cent 3) duty to avoid conflicts of interest If your first duty is to Douglas street ltd and not St Mirren then you are in conflict To summarise they have circled the wagons for the last 4years, no money allowed in, no money going out, reduce the wage bill by releasing seasoned pros , replace with boys, hope we survive
  12. The club have knocked back any investment since the formation of their cartel, it would mean reducing their 52prr cent holding, they have no discussion with the 48 per cent holders ,even to the point of not informing them when the AGM was being held and not sending copies of the accounts. The club is stagnating and is in freefall if nothing changes soon The dome is a great addition to the club but it is financed by the supporters trust, but this is a loan as they will not sell unissued shares.
  13. You forgot Motherwell, east stirling, Livingston, stirling albion, ayr, kilmarnock and dumbarton , all of whom will be owned by the fans by the start of the new season, and don t rule out rangers yet , the momentum is shifting away from dictators or closed shops like our consortium ( or cartel ? )
  14. Fan ownership will not just disappear, SD are working here and in europe on this and it will come at some point, probably with Uefa licensing, its just the form it takes Swansea have the fans guaranteed a place on the board as they have 15 per cent of the shares, this is written into the company articles and any new owner is obliged to honour this
  15. McGregor plays people onside every week , his pace recovers a lot, makes him look good ,but its him that caises the problem in the first place
  16. According to the article in the PDE its about employment, but linking it to the st mirren in the community is a stab in the back for all those working at the various activities and their sponsors
  17. I feel Danny has also been let down by the board in that there is no scouting provision at the club to go and check out players before we sign them, how much does it cost to fly out easy jet to check out players ? Balanced against paying out tens of thousands on wages before you discover you have bought a pup, again!
  18. Was praising the set up of the st mirren community trust and linking it to the st mirren community website Lets be clear the trust has NOTHING to do with anything on this website, all these activities are paid for and supported by other groups , who are doing a great job and to link the trust to it is out of order. This trust has no cash and is puting out the begging bowl to public bodies to promote employment. Is this really a job for the CEO of st mirren football club, has he not got more pressing work on football matters?
  19. No they won t ,they have refused to divulge their commercial agreements, just dtate its a good deal Betcha they say nought
  20. Can we buy a lot and sell with the saints badge on?
