buddiecat 4,398 Report post Posted November 22, 2014 there is, in my opinion, a lack of modern skills in the general management of our club, it's great that they are all pals - paid staff, board members, the pie sellers, the stewards management and others all get on great and go out socialising with each other, it helps to deflect from things like the most talked about cash generator for our club - pre season - being a feckin awful big telly with graphics that are hard to read from the halfway line, not too hard to imagine why the product on the park and those responsible for it are allowed to continue if that turkey in the corner is thought highly of. I will not be paying any more season ticket money to help pay the wage of people i consider to be a burden on our club.a clear out is needed from top to bottom , not of all staff members though, just the prawn sandwich brigade who think flashy cars at the corner flag and a big telly are what we need to get the club going, ditch the glorified used car sales people and get innovative management on board who are more interested in the teams performances and finding good players, not out of date, cheesy, double glazing/car sales rep types who probably see a giant lava lamp being the next big idea to replace floodlights, and extended warranties being offered to repair your season ticket if it should get damaged. I am aware none of this is likely to happen and that i may be going over the top a bit, but if they can get away with shit i dont see why i cant
