TheBowbridgeBar
Evening. Just dropping by to say we are welcoming away fans for this fixture. We are a pub based 100m from Tannadice and welcome all football fans. We are mainly a Dundee pub so won't have any arabs. We have pints from £2.40, free jukebox, pool table and Sky. Buses and supporters clubs are welcome as well as lone supporters. Any clubs interested if they get in touch i could arrange food etc. Admin, ive posted this in main forum too. Hope you don't mind. TediousTom
Is that the wee pub on the corner at the bottom of Tannadice street? If so I recall being in that establishment about 25 years ago before a first division tie vs Dundee. The fruit machine (or Puggie or one armed bandit) was the same one that was in the St Mirren social club in Knox Street (that was the bus I travelled on that day). A number of the bus/social club members knew how to work the machine rather well. A stampede ensued toward the puggie and the machine spat out every 10p it had in jig time. Someone bought me a pint of ale in 10 pence pieces! If its not that pub, well the story still stands.
