Quite amusing with the BBC still mentioning that Murray won the doubles event at Queens yet barely mention he tumbled out in the first match at the next tournament.

Also yesterdays defeat in the mens is hardly worth a mention compared to his win with Williams.

Anyhow, next up for the dream team is the 14th seeds.

Proving to be a scheduling problem for Wimbledon to try to get them on the centre court or court 1 to meet demand.

Play it at Hampden.

The wonder kid Gauff just started against a tough opponent in Halep.

Can she continue the fairy tale, unlikely but................................................

She is actually playing a tennis player, not a hasbeen

You don't half talk some shite....................

Last round, a 28 year old from Croatia, quarter finalist in the French open this year.

Round before that, a 30 year old from Slovakia, semi finalist at Wimbledon 2017.

First round Venus Williams, 39 year old, world no 44, to many titles to mention but still a dangerous player.

You stick to trolling Shull, it's what your best at. :byebye

Out, 6-3, 6-3, not bad against Halep, watched some of the earlier games, she certainly stood up pretty well.

It'll be interesting to see how she develops, the tennis world, and sport in general, is littered with talented kids who, for lots of reasons, don't make it.

You're not all there, she's currently world number 44, the other players, who you ignore, are hardly in that bracket. :hammer

It’ll be very interesting to see how far both Gauff and Amanda Anisimova go, potential is there for these two to become massive names in the sport.

Anyhow, Konta just wins a very tough game against Kvitove and marches into the quarter finals.

Konta back in action today against some Czech player. (Her name would get lots of points in Scrabble)

The dream team are also due on court today, around 3:30.

Serena will play her singles match before this, hope she makes it a quick game.

Quite an opening 7 games.

This girl, Riske, can hit the ball.

Williams definitely looks less mobile than she should, which is catching her out as she's not getting her feet in the right position.

Not going to be a quick match methinx.

Williams gets through in 3 sets.

Some pretty good tennis, her opponent should be proud of her performance.

Williams plays the winner of the game on court right now between Konta & Strycova.

Whoever wins this will have to cut out the unforced errors to beat Williams.

Strycova wins first set on tie break.

Konta erratic, sublime to ridiculous.

22 unforced errors for Konta, threw this set away, was 4-1 and serving.

Konta OOT, absolutely horrendous performance.

Lost the 2nd set 6-1, continued to hit her forehand everywhere except INSIDE the court.

Nothing away from Strycova, she has some skill but Konta gave her the match.

Another 12 unforced errors in 7 games, a total of 34, Christmas time.

That's the end British interest in the singles.
