Saints v Celtic

Where to begin ?

Orans first game ? An unexpected 0-0 and decent performance

A moral boosting win yesterday + a tired Celtic team after all but sealing the league today = A surprise result

St Mirren not to lose [emoji2]

Beat before a ball was kicked, acceptable for some.

As if Saturday wasn't big enough it's taken even more importance.

We lose, it's almost the 2 horse race for real.

Eggs in one basket.

Celtic were honking tonight, a chance gone to take a point at least.

Resting players from all these mysterious injuries.

Dundee at home to an Aberdeen team that are woeful away has the smack of upset.

Just saying.

Imagine we'd played a reserve team this night.....................

We made 3 changes in that game from the one that started the Cup Final a few days earlier.

Also, you cant really compare that Celtic team to the one that's on the verge of 8 titles in a row having won almost everything for 3 seasons.

Poor argument at best.

The players on the field for Celtic last night are not the team who have won 8 titles and almost everything for 3 seasons.

Also there's a major change in the managerial position for Celtic.

Trying to make that lot into something special is a poor argument.

Unfortunately for Scottish football they are miles ahead of everyone.

Last night we ended up with a narrow defeat and our confidence intact with now fresher legs for Saturday's 6 pointer.

I'm really not sure what the problem is, it's a squad game after all.

TBH I can see both sides in the team selection issue, and there are two sides.

Fielding a weakened team was a gamble, no doubt about it.

Would our strongest team done any better...........................who really knows.

All this "fresher legs" stuff is a weak point IMO.

As for confidence, remember what the 0-0 draw done for everyone all them months ago, not sure a 0-2 hammering makes the players more confident.

It's EVERY game over the season that counts, not one game.

PS I'm out of here, place is like a morgue. :byebye

Other than the injured Tierney and Boyata, that was Celtic’s strongest side last night and most of them have been there for most of the last 8 seasons.

You’re a cock!
