Prague Buddie
I have given up trying to keep track of what it's called. So many changes(St Mirren park, Paisley2021, Smisa, Simple digital) in 15 years. Why can't SMISA just call it St mirren park? Do they actually have the sponsorship rights of the stadium? DO they gain anything from having their name across the front door?

ANYTHING apart from SMISA, it means zero to anyone outside of St Mirren, its got nothing related to Paisley and no connection with the majority of the support. Sounds fecking stupid when it's mentioned on TV.

If SMISA don't gain from it, why not just give it a name most of the fans want?

SMISA has nothing related to Paisley. 10% of funds go to charity that invests in the local area.

In football terms it means Hee Haw to almost anybody and a change in name of the stadium wouldn't change the charity issue. Nice try. 🤣

If that's the ones we use in training and going by our goal scoring exploits they must be bigger than the standard goals.
StanleySaint
Was hoping we'd get city status and could have called the City of Paisley Stadium as it is St Mirren Park would do me fine.
Jockmd
A reference to Love St would be nice - The Stadium of Love.
