Generally shite since the 1860s.

More inadequate teams added over last few months.

Scotland, St Mirren, Sevco and now Kilmarnock and Heart of Midlothian.

Supposed to be our National Sport

Ha ha ha ha ha

There's something far wrong when you see TNS , Larne (Andy Ryan ex Airdrie hat-trick) and HJK (Lee Erwin, 3 goals in play-off round) all qualify for the group stage !

Saw that. Good luck to them, I assume they both had easy routes to qualify but puts our teams in a bad light.

It's been that way for years and years now Billy.

Rangers have bucked the trend the odd year but, as a whole, Scottish teams are out before the group stages of all the European tournaments.

Meanwhile there seems next to no attempt to fix this, the forever mentioned "grass roots" stumble along with no major chrnges, and there's very few talented Scottish players making the grade outside of Scotland.

When we went out to Brann there were some saying they would threaten the top of the Scottish league.

I disagreed, but one thing they did quite well was they passed the ball to their own team regularly.

Watching some of the Hearts and Killie games last night it was evident that this is a rare skill for Scottish teams.

Time after time misplaced passes see the opposition gain possession and be back in or around the penalty box where Scottish teams resort to booting the ball as hard as possible.

We watch this week on week in this country, piss poor quality from players who don't possess the basic skills.

Agree on Gogic to midfield nonsense. A big part of the success over the last two seasons has been him at the heart of the defence.

He's no Bobby Moore but, at out level, a key player in the defence.

How many times though have we said we're too easy to play through, moving Gogic to midfield should alleviate that assuming his legs aren't in the process of going and seeing him drive on from defence should be easier to do from midfield. But hey ho opinions are just what they are that's why we have a manager and don't pick the team by consensus.

The season has barely started, way too early to be panicking and moving a key player out of position.

How come we weren't easy to play through last season?

The poor results and they are not as bad performance wise as some make out, start the knee-jerk reactions we've seen season after season.

As you say, thankfully we have a manager who is strong enough to stick to what he see's as the best with the limited resources we have.
