We obviously dont know who else applied so he may well have been the stand out candidate....Lennon turned it down....Naismith will be Clarkes right hand man till 2030....I was not a fan of Mcleish getting gig however we have had our fair share of donkeys at helm....he is honest ...ambitious and knows club.... regardless any Saints manager once appointed has my backing.... 

And it seems no injuries so a perfect game before going into next week.  Big decision could be McGinn, does he bring him in from the start? 

Second half, as expected, didn't quite reach the level of the first half with a steady flow of substitutions.  Plenty of positives and a few decisions for Clarke to make before the unearthly kick off time next Sunday morning.  My plan is to get to bed between 8-9 and set the alarm for 1am. Afyer the game, depending on the result, to be decided. 😉
