So two boys, aged 15 and 14, premeditated and raped two girls, filmed these rapes and posted them on social media. The judge decided he didn't want to "criminalise" them and handed them a youth rehabilitation order which allowed them to walk free. Judge Nicholas Rowland praised the boys for their conduct during the trial. “I think of you as very young and none of you have been in any big trouble before”. He also said this was “youthful misjudgment”. He was more focused on the rapists’ futures than those of the survivors This wasn't stealing a bag of sweets, a planned attack, twice, and posting the attacks to make themselves look cool.
