The majority shareholding in the club was up for sale for 7 years! Eventually the shareholding was purchased by Gordon Scott and SMiSA in July 2016 with almost 1300 supporters contributing to the successful bid.
This forum is now really just an archive of some of the threads that took place in that 7 year period. ps; Anyone mentions the Argies they get banned.
Play like we did in the last 20 mins on Saturday and we will have it done and dusted on Thursday night.
Young lads will be on the bench i expect but wouldn't be surprised to see one of them make an appearance at some point.
Douglas was way more effective than Young who is a busted flush for me.
Thought the longer the game went on the more confident Douglas became. Looks a real prospect as did the other 2 youngsters.
I suspect it will be tight at Firhill and all to play for at the SMISA.
They are bang average and if we don't beat them over 2 legs then we deserve to go down.
I think the mention on social media before Saints were able to talk to their own fans is really unfortunate. I would usually be straying towards cock-up rather than conspiracy while still understanding that if Thistle fans knew there would be an announcement immediately after the game then a lot of Saints fans might have been cut out by Thitle fans piling in as their allocation would have gone super quick.
If there are significant numbers of Thisle fans in the away section then there are definitely grounds for complaint.
