      The majority shareholding in the club was up for sale for 7 years! Eventually the shareholding was purchased by Gordon Scott and SMiSA in July 2016 with almost 1300 supporters contributing to the successful bid.

      This forum is now really just an archive of some of the threads that took place in that 7 year period.ย  ps; Anyone mentions the Argies they get banned.

      Ach well, nice recognition for the lads, next season will be a real test. Good luck to them both.ย  ๐†๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ ๐’๐๐…๐‹ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ž ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐ง We are delighted to announce that our co managers Colin Hamilton and David Gold have been named as Glens Scottish League One Managers of the Season. Hammy and Goldy guided us to the title after taking charge in August last year when we found ourselves bottom of the division and we are delighted for them to receive the recognition they rightly deserve. Speaking to our managers they said, โ€œFirst and foremost, we want to say what an incredible honor it is to be named as Glens Manager of the Season. Our whole outlook is togetherness and creating a solid team spirt and dressing room, so this award is dedicated to our players and staff for their talent, work ethic, and unity, which have been the heartbeat of our season. Everyone involved in Arbroath FC demonstrated their character in every challenge put in front of us this season. We also want to pay tribute to the fans who have played a huge part in the success this year. Your passion and noise lifted us in tough moments and gave us the edge when it mattered most. League One is an extremely tough challenge week in week out going up against quality players and managers and we have nothing but respect for all of them and thatโ€™s what makes this achievement even more meaningful. Weโ€™ve made history this season. But weโ€™re not stopping here. This is just the beginning, and we are all looking forward to going back to The Scottish Chsmpionship once again.โ€ A massive congratulations to Colin and David! #ArbroathFCLive #MonTheLichties #Resurgence
