I agree just not sure if he will last the 90 every week but it was amazing to see someone actually encouraging and instructing the players on the field for once

We really need a proper captain in that team as Irvine and Webster barely speak no matter organise and inspire .

As mentioned above he was exactly what we have been missing for seasons now . A midfielder who can dictate play and possibly more importantly the first actual leader we have had for a while

I was told by a usually reliable source that Webster would be leaving asap so it may well be him

Slow as a week in the jail and is never near the player he is meant to be marking. Still dont see how playing left instead of right changes either.

Cant figure out how changing the side of pitch he is on will make him be able to run faster or mark people .

Sadly for us i think Rae is only good at grinding out results like last season which he had to do to keep us safe but there was very few games where we were actually good . Really dont see him as a forward thinking manager who has the tactical nuance or management skills to take us upwards

I will always go as i have done for 30 ish years but i just wish we had some sort of excitement to watch . I would not be half as scunnered if the football was good but results were not going our way but sadly the last few seasons have been more of a chore than actually looking forward to going.

I hope he can turn it around but when the keeper, defence ,midfield, and attack are all problems then the future does not look good .

I suppose the question is does anyone see Rae as a manager with the tactics and style to take us upwards ?.

We dont seem to have a system of any sort whether in attack or defence . Literally a training game for Hibs today.

Strangely saw Mclear outside the ground today playing great in the U20's just behind the attacker yet being kept off the bench by 2 left backs.

In the car on the way there and heard we were playing 3 forwards which was interesting, sit and watch a match where we created barely anything against a team who look to me like the worst team in the division by a good bit. Strangely in the first half all the noise i could hear was talking amongst fans who had literally given up watching. Truly a surreal day.

Is there a problem with Morgan ? . Have seen him twice for the U20's destroy teams and has shown glimpses of that in the first team, yet we play just about any players who do not play there in front of him. Howieson actually looks like a player when played in the middle yet we shunt him out wide.

Says on Sky sports that Carswell, Mcmullan , and Thommo are doubtful ?. Anyone heard the problem with the Hawk ?

Just push higher up the pitch and we will be fine, no more 18 yrd box defending. P.s anyone know what has happened to Gow ?

Said it after the Dumbarton game that we need to press teams higher up the park. Pushed higher in the main in Dumfries and it worked out well, yet here we are 2 up against an average Falkirk team almost defending our own 18 yard box . Still think we will get it right but we must push and learn to take control and slow the game down in the oppositions half when we are leading. Two other points from today the ref and the west stand side linesman were abysmal, challenge on Mcmullan was a red and Kerr should have walked for 2 bookings.Would say the penalty looked valid as there was no real arguement from our players. Other point which has been mentioned is Agnew and Mallan imho are not compatible playing together and i would go for Mallan Anyday, not slagging Agnew just think the two are the same wwith Mallan being a better player.

Great day apart from dropping my phone at Sir Thommos goal. Said after last week we need to push higher up the field which happened to great effect Well done Mr Murray and the team, Onwards and upwards hopefully.

We have fast players but very rarely get in behind teams, really need to play to players strengths.

The fact our defence sits so deep leaves acres of space for any team even Berwick had a lot of the ball. The defence needs to push up which in turn pushes the midfield up towards the forwards....Its not hard to see .

Not much to add just as usual no shape/gameplan and a team that sits almost on our own 18 yard box awaiting pressure. Wonder if Murray needs to realise we are not a relegation team like Dumbarton and actually go and press high and attack teams.

Obviously would love to see a victory but would be happy just to see a resemblance of a TEAM performance, with players all aware of their roles and keeping a good shape. At this point that to me would be progress.

Why do we always seem to have less players on the field ? Need to get some sort of shape and a game plan.

2 up front with Morgan and Mcmullan told to attack at will and get the ball in early. Livi are a poor team and a good win/performance would do wonders for us.
