I assume since you replied to me I am one of quote "these people"  either retract this or point out where I have mention GLS profiting many times.
The current board only recorded a profit as the previous board had a sell on clause inserted in John McGinn's transfer to Hibs

Don't get how it protects SMISA, they will be the major shareholder, that already gives them veto surely?

That's one way to look at it, another was that if there was no BTB, and the club was sold to another owner, then GLS was left with a load of near worthless shares.  BTB was the only way, short of buying out the consortium that he had any chance of making money from the share he already had.  That said fair play to him for getting involved with the fans in assuring the fans would be able to purchase the club, and have a board of Saints fans.  Shame that's changed lets hope the people the Kibble put forward are the Glasgow Rugby team supporters and not the many Rangers season ticket holders they have in senior positions and on the board.  I'd feel a bit miffed if BTB and this proposal gave us boardroom **** with Veto rights.

Cheers, I guess this means that in theory they could be using government  grants to buy the shares.  Also if Saints make any profit, does this mean that the kibble are entitled to re-invested a share of it in their other interests? Think its not what I joined so a no from me until some of the questions on here are answered.

Genuine question as I’m not an expert on charitable organisations, do non profit making charities such as the Kibble not budget to break even every year?

If this is the case I really won’t be back, I didn’t renew my season ticket and told the club why, however I have been buying tickets on a match by match basis.  If none are available for this game I’m done

On Point two above 7 years is a long time, if a kid using the family stand is 9 10 or 11 and their family stop taking them over this, what chance is there of them returning at 16 17 0r 18 or bringing their children in the future?  This decision is short term and short sighted.
