10 years ago Smisa had 64 members paying £3 a month.
Today 1200 members paying enough money to not only buy over 50% of the shares but to continually put money into the club every year and still have around £300k in the kitty.
It's a big success.
As for the football club ,top six for first time!

Gotta say having watched lots of the championship games this season , there’s not many in that league I’d fancy having at saints .

Selling slowly now, so I doubt we will ask for any more. Still ~1,100 fans is brilliant.

I'm not the only one who likes to count dots:

Apparently they have sold over 14,000 tickets for this, which should mean a good atmosphere.

If we finish 6th we get £200k more (than 7th) in prize money and no European spot. So I would suggest our games post-split will be massive too. Conversely, if we finish in the bottom six, the season's over - we're just playing for a greater share of prize money...which, of course, is preferable to a relegation battle.

Third spot is massive, getting an extra £1 million! But is that realistic? It's possible. If we finish in the top-six and beat Aberdeen in the first game, we can surely dream. But, I too am getting ahead of myself. 🤪

Beaten Dons last 2 games with a 6-3 agg.... its hard not to dream...isnt that why we support?
Remember mid 80s when 3rd was achieved... be fantastic to get back there considering it wasnt that long ago Obika kept us up

If we make 4th, we recoup that £million we lost previously. But finishing third would perhaps set us up for a few years. We really need to win on Saturday, but I will take a draw.

Fewer than forty-eight hours to go...
I hate it when I get this excited about the Saints, as it's usually an anti-climax. Plus, the downside of a sell-out is I can't do a dot count. Also I have stopped drinking, so even if we win 5-0 I cannae have a celebratory drink. I will just go home and watch it all again in Gaelic...

Right across from where he will be running the line 😂
Hopefully all the international players have all returned fit and well for this game.

I fancy a 1-0 or 2-1, it's been a long time since I've fancied us in so many games, obviously more so at home. 😉

What a signing he was, last double figures in a season striker we had.

It was the cup form aswell actually. In the season after we won the cup we went out that same cup to second tier Queen of the South and then got papped out the Scottish early by Dundee Utd. If he had managed a cup run that season he may well have got a new contract. For a club like ours cup runs are a huge part of our season and our budget. We had been consistently making quarter finals - four out the last five including two semis - up until this season, where we made zero.
So far this season we have failed in the League Cup, failed in the Scottish Cup (with the caveat of an unlucky draw, but the added caveat of that home shocker against Dundee, where we got very lucky). Top six will certainly make the league campaign a success, let's hope we do it!

Club trying to set up as a top 6 club even with the financial constraints on us this year... i think its great to be miles away from a survival scrap that on budget we should be in....Livi also do exceed but would they on grass .
Well County... even Thistle have all got there but never pushed on... plan is we do....
Going to game and it will be like a cup game with 7000 Saints fans supporting...

I’ve always found Dundee to be a good night out. 🍻🥃
Lots of decent pubs and the locals are always friendly enough .😎👍.

Yeah big one this, wouldn't say it was must win, but if we don't win it just makes the Livi and Killie games must win. A win at Tannadice leaves us with some margin for error in the other two winnable games. United are the only team we have beaten on the road this season where the opponents didn't get a player sent off inside the first ten minutes. It's a ground we've had a lot of joy at recently, we've won our last three games there, including the famous 1-5. Could certainly do with another similar sized win to give the battered goal difference a bit of a boost.
1-1
