  1. there is some amount of shite in this thread! So faraway you point out that Poz is a tourist and not the same as living there - I live here and I am quite happy too. SD going on about postcodes getting refused insurance - I am not sure where all comes under PA1 but my gran is in PA1 in Whitehaugh Avenue - we all know that is one of paisley's most sought after areas. Drunks and junkies laid out on the pavements - really? Paisley may not be a quant little town with children in straw hats and rabbits bouncing along beside whilst bluebirds fly overhead but it is not as bad as some folk are making out. If the bloody council could just sort themselves out and realise we need more retail not bloody flats we could get the town busy again. Yeah there are drunks and junkies but good people far outweigh them. no away back to your perfect little neighbourhoods whilst I sit looking out my window taking in the view of the braes thinking how I am possibly going to get through the sea of bodies littering the streets to get to the gym :-) Edited to say neighbourhoods!
  2. oh aye it was all the rage in Thruscraigs haha I have it in my head there was some kind of game and you shouted out something then the person corresponding to it had to run like they were at the bottom you at top and had to race, loser was out and so it went on... me and my sister got caught discussing doing the letterbox thing - I was a fearty so we didn't tho my sis used to put worms thru the neighbours letterboxes :-)
  3. Right, any idea what Polo was or am I imagining it???
  4. If you want to go to heaven when you die..............

  5. Ropes, chinks, beds, balls up against the close wall (let the replies commence), british bulldog - tho can't remember exactly what it was - was there something called Polo too???? Chap door runaway, hide and seek and fitba :-)
  6. well considering you reply to almost every thread with a pile of fookin smileys you cannae really moan - at least folk are actually discussing something here! I await your 8 smiley response *rolls eyes*
  7. I'm sure they realised they had to get a degree at the least and it was tongue in cheek............they wouldn't be able to sit on here all day if they had a class hehe
  8. some people seem awfy obsessed with teachers .............anyone who thinks teachers work 9-3 and if they think its all singing songs and doing 'gym' are deluded. holidays - aye ye need them I worked in a special needs school for 8yrs as a classroom assistant but was VERY involved in the class, I took groups for lessons, I helped out with physio and hydro on a one to one, I had the pleasure of 15kids to pick up and drop off from school. I LOVED the holidays it was a draining job at times. I was young! Now tho having been out in the big bad world plenty folk could do with more holidays - we all could no matter what full time job you in. I worked pt in a care home for a while - some of these girls working 4 and 5 back to back 12hr shifts for minimum wage - ooft! Teachers went to study and get their degree so aye they shouldn't be on NMW, but these girls and guys looking after our mums, grans, dads and papas by god they deserve more. Half day Friday's I would say no plainly for the reason that kids will be even worse to get out of bed if they know its only for a few hrs haha. Finally - see if this easy life teachers have (you think) go train and get the job and enjoy it instead of moaning about it! I for one certainly wouldn't want to be in a class all day with kids no matter what holidays I got!
  9. 2 cup finals - all teams to score - fakes and hull to win - 89/1 right now I hate macnamara even more! and arsenal have just scored

  13. won a bottle of Ballantines Brasil at the Tile POTY do last week, tried it last night with a bit of ice - nice. I googled it and it says to have with ice and lemonade (a highland samba) or apple juice (a glen trio) . Trying it with lemonade nice and its is nice, refreshing but lemonade is just too sweet for me. nice wee hauf tho :-)

  15. koppabergs and 2 cup finals - first saturday without fitba is awrite!

  16. what an arseshite of a thread - conspiracy, backstabbing, secrets, insults etc etc. Danny is gone - yip I personally would have like to have known for Saturday - for the cup win alone he deserved a proper send off (in my nice person opinion). Everyone knew he was off - the board's reason for not announcing it? who knows. As much as I dislike fitba is a business - I see it as my team 'my boys' I call them but at the end of the day SG and co are running a business. Danny - good luck! TC - good luck! Goody and Teale - delighted to have them both as coaches - good luck! what where's whys and wondering - leave it - enjoy your summer and fresh start in august :-) OH AND RENEW YER SEASON TICKET FFS
  17. me I am just hoping for half decent weather so I can sit oot backdoor. Tho I might just manage a week at some point before going back to work up my dads caravan in Elie - which is FAB. Just me, some books and a merlot :-)
  18. I put the tinternet off and on fone as I have an exam tomoro, got the text and I lasted and hr and a half before coming on for a look! Nae time for big post but all the best to Danny, another bit of time wouldn't have hurt IMO and as for who comes in well no matter who it is I'm still getting my season ticket - I support the club as a whole - no player, board member or manager is bigger than the club nor my love for it! right back to the books!
  19. aye she done fine - someone said at one point how come she isn't getting abuse - cos she hasn't done anything - gie it time. aye Cpl of offside decisions and she got telt - the same as a male would have and that was it
  20. £2.60 a pint and about 1.70 for a hauf and dash - was up there after uni before partick game - I think I should have been up there more at those prices!!! Tho I was sure it was 1.70 but Hollz went up and got 2 haufs and dash and it was 2.80 - even better!
  21. not a huge radio person, go thru phases of listening. Just now whilst studying I am a radio fan - agree with Buddiecat - smooth can be guid but my fav just now is absolute 80s - love it!
  22. to be fair they doing you a favour - its looks like it be better kept in a bag! but really - that's crap! Saints without Provans - is just pants
  23. I knew Simon vaguely from over the years and from Borgia and The North End has sadly lost 2, Kilty and Willie McMillan in February - I have emailed the club to add his name. Lovely lovely gesture
  24. St Mirren FC A bit of history will be made at ‪#‎StMirrenPark‬ on Saturday as assistant referee Kylie McMullan will be the first female match official to take part in a Scottish Premiership match. Oh this will be interesting! Will she get the West Stand? who will be the first to shout - get back in the kitchen hen? A male or me???
