Reality is that we probably cannot afford to sack TC, can we afford to keep him though with, at this rate, the drop an enevitability. I would not be that concerned about not scoring goals if we were not conceding any but the defence is porous. We need an old head (TT type) in the centre of defence behind Naismith, time to shore up the sinking ship, get back to not being beaten and take it from there.

Personally, I like the look of the players which arrived. However, its what hasn't happened which is the issue: - the need for a centre half/s ignored; Macausland still here and giving goals away; McLean still here and anonymous; still no buyer. The list goes on. The board need to grow a pair between them, invest in the club and get qualified people in to run the club (marketing etc). Otherwise they should gift the shares to SMISA or similar, come to some arrangement about future profits re the price for the shares and then bogg off. TC, I'm sorry, your numbers up.

Maybe McAusland should be further up the pitch, Goody's role, drop goody back to c/h - go win the ball n pass it to others.

I think Tess should step into centre half now as it is crystal clear McAusland is way off the mark as a player at this level, his tackling is poor which is only marginally better than his ability to control a ball and his distribution. I want to see every player in a black n white shirt succeed but we need new blood at the centre of defence now so we can attempt to move forward.

It seems to me that football is getting dragged along by TV companies / pundits on what they should / should not be doing, so we've now got a two tier system where if Goodie banjo's someone, the officials don't see it but it gets caught by the tv camera's, there's retrospective punishment but if the same happens at Peterhead where there's no cameras, then there is no action. Only a matter of time, in my opinion, before someone challenges this in a court. What about the flying elbows that are caught by the cameras (at the World Cup) but not by the officials - any retrospective action? The bottom line, what is the difference between nutting someone during a game; biting them or elbowing them in face - it's still violent conduct. Why should someone get a 2 match ban for a flying elbow but a 10 match ban for a bite?

Got to agree with DLBud, McAusland is not good enough to take the team forward. If TC is saying we're going to play football from the back, I can't then see where McAusland fits in.

I think TC should have made McGinn captain instead of Thommo, a level head and always gives 100%.

McAusland really needs to be shown the door as he is nowhere near good enough for the club. If we could afford him, I'd bring back Broadfoot to play beside McGregor.

I would like to see Collins but I suspect he's a manager who needs money behind him to bring in players, not gonna happen.

Unless new owners are coming in with new (and more) money for whoever is in charge to spend, I would imagine the budget to bring players in / keep players will be reduced again next season. As such, I would not be surprised for DL to be offered a new contract on lesser terms than at present or for someone new (and probably less experienced than DL) to come in on less money. I'm not sure it bodes well for next season.

There may well be very valid commercial reasons why he said what he did and why the Board are meeting again next week. If new owners are waiting in the wings, the Board may have been asked to do nothing about renewing player or staff contracts. Maybe not ideal but I'm sure it will come out in the wash.

Are you sure SMISA are an I & P Society - they don't apear on the public register. However, The 1877 Society Limited are an I & P Society and presumably SMISA are the operating name. The FSA no longer exists and is now two separate regulatory authorities.
