Ah, not quite, Well St. Bud, it's actually the backward message at the intro to Empty Spaces. Bad luck, I'm afraid.

I'm surprised that a gentleman like yourself who likes the Floyd, especially the Syd Barrett era, isn't interested in matters pertaining to bykes even ones without baskets and bells and things to make them look good.

Ah yes. There was always the story that Sid (Barrett, not the banned poster from this forum) had been estranged from the band for several years when he walked into the recording studio just as they happened to be recording Shine on. We will never know if that is true or whether it was a story invented by the record company for a bit of publicity. I shall have a look for that particular recording, very early as it is recodrd before Arnold Layne or at least recorded before Arnold Layne became Pink Floyd's first hit.
Shine on you crazy diamond (parts 1 and 2) are wonderful pieces of music. Occasionally I will listen to "shine on" whilst sitting in my living room, alone with a wee dram.

    Meh
Piper at the gates of dawn
    Atom Heart Mother
    and
    Saucerful of Secrets
were more my cup of tea. Sid Barrett really was brilliant, I can recommend his album "Barrett" with the songs "baby lemonade" and "The effervescing elephant".
The division bell is okay but then again so was Neil Orr and he does not often get a mention on here!

This. I don't know who is involved in designing next season's kits, but if it is our BoD or CK, I don't believe they would ask for that. Given what JD Sports own in-house team did with our first JD kit, which was good, I don't think they'd mess around with the stripes this much. Also, such thin stripes couldn't possibly have names and numbers on the back even remotely legible, so would it be a white back again? Having seen the positive reaction to 'bringing back the stripes' on recent kits, surely they wouldn't choose to go back to white backs or white patches again.
Having said that, I'm out the picture, REA is out the picture, so as I said, who knows who is now responsible for designing our strips.
If that turns out to be our real home kit.... Bring back, erm, me!

A poor performance and I fear we are not out the woods yet. Fingers crossed.
The Simon Richardson tribute came across very well on the tv.
I am not family but I was a very close friend of Simon and I have been in touch with Simon's family this evening. They are extremely grateful for the support shown by Saints and Jags fans tonight. The support shown over the last 6 months by Saints fans, St Mirren FC and The B&W Mag has been fantastic. Simon's family are extremely proud and rightly so.
Proud to be a Buddie. Thank you all.

I was at the 3-0 game at Fir Hill on 10th November 2013 with Simon, my mate of 39 years, his nephew Keith, and another best friend Jim. Jim, Simon and me had stood on the Love Street North Bank from a young age - I lost count of the number of games we saw, home and away.
10th November will forever be etched in my brain. We had an excellent day out - beers, watching the Saints win, curry and laughs - exactly what best mates should do. Shortly after midnight I said my farewells to Simon and planned to do it all again a month later away to Motherwell. I walked one way, Simon walked the other. Shortly afterwards some random bastard killed him for no apparent reason. I was the lucky one. Not only is this an attack on my best mate, it's an attack on society - it could have happened to anyone reading this.
I can't bring myself to attend tomorrow - do Simon proud Saints.
The murder trial begins on 9th June. Justice for Simon.
