  1. Indeed... arguably Dunfermline is a bigger club than us ans with a better history. Would any of us swap the last decade with them? They were mismanaged and overspend whilst we were under wise stewardship at that point. Both teams got what they deserved. Yet as you alluded to, we can hardly complain if we end up trading places.
  2. Cheers fellow half centurions plus! ;)
  3. I'm not so sure about that. Against Partick he covered every blade of grass, won the 40-60 tackles and inspired for the 88 minutes he was on the park. I think he was instructed to stay central. It is the only explanation that makes sense to me.
  4. I'd swap Nsidmith for a ballboy... or just take Naismith off full stop. Constant liability today.
  5. Swine... too quick with the edit or I would of (sic) called the spelling policer!!!!
  6. Just like I thought Garry Brady could help the development of Kenny McLean... only to very quickly be kept out of the team by him!
  7. The two are not mutually exclusive though Shull... I'm sure I've read posts from you in the past that were smart and funny!!!
  8. Personally, I always felt made Josh Magennis look like Dougy Somner!!! Awful player, and I watched him several times as a neutral in games not involving Saints. Reminds me of Samaras in terms of ability to be decent or honking and ability to split the crowd.
  9. totally agree... on a local level, I vote for the best person, not the party. Tactical voting annoys be. FFS stand up for what you believe in... not what you are told will be most advantageous! I have voted for members of four different parties at different times. I am not party led... but needs led!
  10. Looks like their new front partnership will be Jason Scotland and Nigel Hasselbaink. The ultimate Little and Large!
  11. And I most certainly am not "wee"!
  12. Oh.. and re Ball... I totally agree that under Craig that was his game... For me it showed his passion and effort, as he was never going to get a touch of the ball otherwise.
  13. Thompson won a nomber of headers that he flicked on. He won a number of tackles that he had no right to win. He also wound up Osman causing the beast to be removed from play. He inspired the crowd (yourself excepted, obviously ). He lasted almost 90 minutes and looked a damned sight fitter than most despite his long lay off. Apart from that, I admit he did sod all.
  14. I don't jog and I am not your Son. Toss off wanker!!!
  15. Were you at Firhill? Thompson is far from finished. Your opinion of Arquin is based on what exactly? I thought he showed a lot of promise. Ball is an adequate back up bench warmer.
  16. Just listened to a fascinating interview with one of yer coonselurs! After the first award, a sub committee was set up to address the problem. They finally decided it was an image thing and that it was best to build a statue so that when someone mentioned Cumbernauld they would think of "the place with the statue" rather than "the place with that town centre"! They had a massive budget. The chairman wanted the statue placed in the town centre but was outvoted... "have you seen the state of the place ?" he was asked by a fellow politician charged with improving it!!! You wiz robbed!
  17. Don't you worry mate... Cumbernauld will ALWAYS be a carbuncle to me! ;)
  18. I suppose if looking for some kind of solace it could be considered that although McLean has more or less carried the team at times this season, he had little competition as most were shite under Craig. Kenny himself struggled to shine under Craig. Teale brought the best out in McLean and has improved the performance level throughout the team. That gives me hope.
  19. Tell me it was a bad dream... please!
  20. Being out of the cup, McInnes has made a statement of intent... title race is back on!
  21. please remove this dagger from my heart!!!
