Trying to buy a season ticket online for me and my boy for the 1st time in 3 seasons. All I’m getting to is the pick a seat which is blank. Frustrating. Is it just renewal?

The problem we have with the delay is that it is effecting our preparation of building our squad for next season. No players are going to commit to joining us with the managers future in limbo. Probably the same with Reilly. The uncertainty is not a good thing but I think Jack has earned the right for the club to be patient.

Patience is the key. If Jack goes fair play to him. I have faith in GS to appoint another gem like he did in JR. Premiership here we come

Having your own business you will know that if you have an employee who is excelling then other bigger businesses would offer that employee more money to join them. Stability is key therefore the BoD should be constant in their ambitions and make the best appointment they can in moving the club forward with or without Jack. I’m sure Jack has St Mirren in his heart but if opportunities come along to better your career and your family’s life you have to take them if they feel right.

His stock as a manager is as high as it could get. If he has a poor season in the Premiership next season with us he may never get the opportunity again. Even though I would be gutted to see him leave he has a chance to further his career and for all he has achieved with us and knocking back the opportunity with both Dundee & Barnsley he would deserve it. Players and managers move on we are constant as fans.

If Jack Ross get offered the job he will take it unless his request for sole control of all footballing matters are not met. He should take it and deserves it. Ipswich have a history of giving managers time and even though they are not going to be one of the biggest spenders in the division with Jack at the helm they will no doubt be a success and with that would challenge for playoffs. The great thing about all the interest in Jack shows what a good job he has done with us not only winning the league but the footballing style we managed to accomplish in. My main disappointment would be if Jack does go I will always have that niggling feeling of what could he have achieved with us in the top flight. He had the potential to be a great. I want to say now if Jack goes I want to wholeheartedly thank him for some of the greatest memories I have had as a long life St Mirren supporter.

If and when Jack leaves us then I wouldn’t look past Jim Goodwin to be our next manager. Actually let’s just strike an agreement that they just keep appointing young promising managers and we keep taking them as and when we need them [emoji23]

Brilliant. Just watched it. So chuffed for the St Mirren legend that is Jim Goodwin. Also 2 St Mirren loanees getting the goals to send them up. Ross Stewart for me has some raw ability. Kirkpatrick had a really quiet game up until his fantastic goal to win it. It also an added bonus that they sent down Dumbarton who have a Morton legend in charge and some of our rejects who are some of the worst players ever to represent our club. Get it right round ye Dumbarton [emoji23]

Crawford isn’t feasible but I would love for us to go for Templeton. As close to a replacement to Morgan as we could afford.

Don’t agree with the whole concept of the sin bin I just choose to ignore or skim past pointless posts. Rather than it’s ma baw mentality. If someone is being abusive to another member or using threatening behaviour etc kick them out. As for the forum its mainly is a great source news, information and some interesting talking point. What a job JR has done. I for one was a sceptic. Calling for his head after his first 6 games. Manager of the year surely. Picked us up bottom of the the league to runaway champions. I love being so wrong

Has Eckersley not now won the Championship with 3 different teams now. After winning it with Hearts & Hibs he has been released. It would be a killer for the lad if this was 3rd time unlucky. I would keep him he is a solid left back very dependable.

I understand it’s all about opinions but I believe the POTY award should go to the best player in that season and I feel that it would be harsh if Morgan doesn’t win it as he has been class above throughout the season. You said that not always the best player wins it but someone the fans can relate to well I think the move to Celtic has hampered his chances of scooping the prize where as if he were not leaving this would be an easy decision for exactly that reason. I have made my case for Lewis I just hope he wins it as IMO he has deserved hands down it’s been a joy to watch him play for us. As for Barron he won it because he played that season at left back even though he was predominantly a right back and gave 100%. There were players who had better performances that season. Just my opinion

What would it look like if Morgan scoops the PFA Championship awards and he wasn’t to win a fans forum POTY? I will say it again some people’s view has been tainted due to him signing for Celtic. If he signed a new three year it wouldn’t be in question. There has been a number of players who have been fantastic this season but Morgan has been a class above you only need to look at the goals and assists. Due to that form and talent the best club in country have signed him. If the other players had been that good Celtic would be signing them or bigger clubs would be making bids. Oh I remember David Barron won a host of fan based POTY awards. Now that was embarrassing.

Morgan for both awards for me. It’s the first time in god knows how long we have had a numbers of great players to select from
