  1. Great thread! No.. I mean it... Great thread. 'Mon the Murray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here was me thinking that 60 c in "old money" was exactly the same as 60 c in "new money"
  2. I know.... Great thread! (And I would have ticked a like for it this time.)
  3. This could be laid at the door of a few but don't tell me that McGinn, Kelly, Naismith, Thompson, Dilo, Kello, McAusland, McGregor or even Goodwin show a "can't be arsed attitude. I do buy my games upfront and will continue to do so in the hope that my small financial contribution will allow the people in charge to progress my club. No. It will not happen every year and Yes, I will find myself alongside the disgruntled, but, at the end of the day, I want my club, my tribe if you will, to continue. That's what being a fan is. Not the upfront payment but the phylosophy. We all want the best and, on the few occassions we get it, we rejoice far more than those who seem to expect it of their faction. I fear for the near future as much as many given our last three outings as much as I relished it the seven prior, or feared the seven before that. Life, and being a buddie, is a rollercoaster!
  4. I think that punishment was until February.
  5. Backtracking Dicko? As Leon would have said, "Ideas that enter the mind under fire remain there, securely and forever." Perhaps you should think before spouting your socialist rhetoric!
  6. It is "other football" FCS faraway. He's entitled to comment on other teams and, AFAIC, he makes a valid point.
  7. The difference is Sanny covers them. He doesn't make one of himself!
  8. I would say sarcasm suits you but I know you're being serious!
  9. Well deserved. I've said from almost the first time I saw the lad we had something special. About time the outside world sat up and took notice.
  10. I didn't think Grainger was any worse than a lot last week. Give the guy a break FFS
  11. Well Jason and Sean. Where would you rather be? I know I'd be a wee bit jealous!
  12. Serves you right for buying the Daily H~n / Huddle
  13. Perhaps I should have emphasised that the latter part of the post was tongue in cheek but I thought it obvious.
  14. IF Bahoken walked out then I'm absolutely certain that we can, at the very least, claim breach of contract by Nice as he would be deemed "faulty". This should give leverage to renegotiate the terms. ie. We'll keep him, give him training facilities. But , you pay for the waste of space. THEN. We play him. He scores a barrowload and gets us to the Scottish Cup final and has 93,000 pregnant womaen after him when he leaves. Seemples!
  15. With everything behind us as far as all the negativity and uncertanty I'm bucking the trend and predicting an unusual easy victory. 0-3 to the real saints.
  16. I think some are missing the crux of this. The lad ASKED to leave because HE felt he was being undervalued. This doesn't mean the Saint's coaches felt he wasn't good. Perhaps just not ready. If he had stayed and worked for it he might have played alongside the others who knuckled down and proved their worth.
  17. Don't concern yourself. Julian's as butch as a (dress)fitters dog!
  18. Wow. Revelation! Sheils is unstable. Who'd ave thunk it? Next thing we know Julian Clary will come out of the closet!
  19. Great news. Hopefully he can fully commit now he knows he's staying. A Gowser free from external pressures and possibly fitter due to abstinance and Newton of old bodes well.
  20. I thought it was just an "o" that was missing!
  21. Gets my vote then. Why would one big wage waster tip another one anyway?
  22. Much as I hope it's not the case, if Paul is "banged up", the club would have every right to terminate his contract. If the choose not to do so they would be paying what must be a heavy salary for a guy who may not be availlable for the rest of his contract. Wouldn't make sense.
  23. Don't they have to lose one to get one? Anyway. Given that it is still arithmetically possible for them to catch teams above them it would set a dangerous precedent to allow them to bring in players. What is deemed as doomed? There are still 51 points availlable. Is a deficit of 19 points the set point? Is 18? 17? 16.......... Rules are rules. Financial cheats are punished. No to changing mid stream, No parole. The club, and their fans, knew they were beating teams with cash they didn't have. JHell mend them if they have to play 11 year olds!
  24. And you found this out how? It's difficult to debate with someone who knows all!
