  1. No need for this rubbish. There isn't a thread dearth after all!
  2. It happened at our ground. It's just not being highlighted. I would really love it if Lunny looks through all the footage and cites a couple of United players for missed offences! (Keagan style rant there?)
  3. I agree but the wheels came off the bus after we beat them on their own patch. I think they've only won once in the league since. I'd qualify that by saying it was, I believe, Aberdeen at their ground. We need to be on top of our game and, if we score early doors, it could be another comfortable game. 3-0 the Buddies.
  4. What kind of statement is that? The Scottish game is where it is and it's due to the financial constraints that Danny would need to revert to the thumping the ball up the park or continue to attempt to make the proverbial silk purse out of a relative sow's ear and entertain the punters. I know which I prefer to see and I think he delivers it quite well when the players apply themselves.
  5. The decision may be made for Danny. The compliance officer will ban our Jim so we could end up with a straight 4-4-2, Adam up front with Thommo.
  6. If Kello is willing to stay he must know the limitations within our budget so maybe the deal is possible. Would be a fantastic opportunity for both parties as I think Marian would command much more value if he was seen to be instrumental in a Saints revival. Break the bank as much as is feasable to keep the lad in Paisley.
  7. After seeing the highlights on TV I have to admit that Goodie was lucky to stay on the park after the ugly challenge early doors. This said. I think Utd committed just as bad, if not worse, offences which also went unpunished. If Lunny is to look into the incident, as is being suggested, I hope he goes through the whole game and not just the part so only highlighted on Sportscene.
  8. So bored was I that I watched an episode of the far fetched updated American version of Sherlock Holmes, Elementary. The picture below is a still showing a banker in front of his bank, Canon Ebersole's logo. Was this a blooper or is there a Scot behind the camera with a sense of humour?
  9. Therein lies the problem. I believe Adam is right sided so I can only see three options. Newton, McGowan or Thommo himself. All of whom are pretty important to our team. Edited to say. There is a fourth option. drop our Captain and go to a conventional 4-4-2.
  10. Absolutely ecstatic about the result and even more so by the performance. All I can say is, "Where the fcuk did that come from?" I went to the ground today to see, The mighty Saint feeling hopeful, No more. I left convinced that when you see the Dee, A team is certain to score four. Until this day it's been Dundee with the most And United were the team with the win. But wee Jackie's players worked too much on the Ghost, And forgot about wee John McGinn! YA BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad I was soooooo wrong, Well done to players and coaching staff. A masterclass and a wonderful game.
  11. That was "saint Mirren" though. We are fast becoming "Saint Mirren 0" so where the goals will come from for an unexpected win confounds me prior to the match. I hope to be eating my words by 4:50pm but hope is the best I can muster.
  12. I see the fans of oldco haven't changed. Violent threats have apparently been made online against the incumbents on the board. Police to get involved. And. How about this for straw clutching? To deflect from the obvious Mr Somers exlained away the red card display by claiming, "I wasn't at that particular one but I have had several emails from people who said they were led to believe that the red card display was about apartheid so there seems to be some confusion among the fans as to what they were displaying,"
  13. Not seen any weddings but I have experienced what's akin to a wake at the likes of the Ross County thumping etc.
  14. As far as I was told from someone who knows the aforementioned Mr. F We indeed should be thankful he was spared and T is not the kind to "man up" unless by way of a partner. Edited to add ALLEGEDLY!
  15. 10 fingers does that constitute giving him a hand job ..... Twice?
  16. I actually think folk are looking too deeply into this. McGowan on a night oot. McGowan gets p!ssed. Police stop him and ask him whatever. McGowan gets cheeky. Police think, "Let's teach this little w@nk a lesson." McGowan retaliates. Police then, quite honestly, say he assaulted them. Two wrongs make them right. That's the way of the world nowadays. Somebody needs to be believed and Gowser didn't have proof. The lesson to be learned is Paul needs a minicam and a better attitude. Hope the polis and the judge think the fear of incarceration is enough and a suspended sentence is doled out.
  17. I know what you mean. It happened to me the other morning when I was driving to work. I nearly cut masell wae ma razor and spilt ma coffee!
  18. I wasn't aware cricket had a past tense. the Ashes on the other hand, have as far as Engerlund are concerned!
  19. It was an improvement on the original so, fair dos?
  20. We need to know who devised this test. We have a right to know. Someone tell me why they picked on me. Why is it the site crashed just after delivering my score? After all. Mine was the perfect 100%! I'm going to find out who was at the bottom of this insult and, when I do,.............................
  21. Yes. But he DIDN'T score the championship winning goal QotS did.
