If the season, as expected, ends now- then we finish in 9th place. I think that’s a reason to be cheerful, as only those with the biggest rose tinted specs would have expected it. And a possible £2-300k more to our club. Woohoo. And Morton are crowdfunding! If Carlsberg did pandemics........

I’m a member of SMISA, not an active member. It was only a suggestion cos I live closer to you than Paisley. But I’ve just got back back from Italy (not Lombardy) and am in isolation. If you want your money I think you should try to collect now

If the league is suspended for a time we may be able to play the remaining 3 games of pre split fixtures before contracts expire at the end of May. This would enable everyone to have at least played everyone else 3 times and would be a fair point to stop if we run out of time (as is likely) to complete the season. Then no club can complain that they didn’t get a fair crack at the league, as will no doubt happen if it stops now

Aye, mortality rate is fairly low- but the big issue is of the impact on the underfunded NHS. They won’t be able to cope if everyone catches it all at once- we need to slow it down. Expect to catch it at some point and if you have a problem with your lungs- then self isolate

They also managed to put 5 past us at Tynecastle. Next week’s game against them is huge

Blimey, it’s hard reading through this topic. I’ve done it to try and help me come to a decision on how to vote. I’ve also watched the video of the meeting and read the original proposal. Initially, I was a bit skeptical on SMISA having less shares than originally promised and also not knowing too much about Kibble. So what have I gleaned from all this, well, from what I can see is that most SMISA members, like myself and my wife don’t really do much more than pay our subs and vote on the £2 spend. And we do that because we want fan ownership, to never have some fly by night come in and destroy our club. We don’t have much more input than that due to having many other commitments for our time. It seems most don’t. Which is why SMISA might struggle to find many willing and able people to run the club once fan ownership is realised. Kibble, a local charity, look like a well run company and being a charity, I doubt will try to destroy us for their own benefit (even if that was possible with a minority share). But, as SMISA members, we would act to stop them doing so if that was the case. 51% is the magic number. Personally, I don’t know any current board members, SMISA or otherwise. But I trust them to run our football club. Mistakes have been and will continue to be made. The same has to go for the ones Kibble would appoint. We have to trust that they will do what they think is best for SMFC as they will be a part of it (again, I reiterate, a minority part). But I do think they will at least be capable of helping to run our club, and probably bring a good level of experience and professionalism to the table. We are all taking a leap of faith in the BtB scheme to help secure the future of our club and I for one am happy to hold hands with Kibble and leap together.

This is us at the half way point. 5 points ahead of bottom place and 4 away from 7th. I’d say that’s not bad. Definitely an improvement from last season.

Surely Flynn’s time is up. He was a squad player in the Championship and substituted early against Alloa on Saturday. That must have been his last shot at impressing OK
