When I was at Uni, there was a group of guys from Fluid Mechanics formed a band called Eddie Currents and the Whirlpools.

As Poz said in the OP, it's the total lack of any debris, not a single piece has been found. If one of the original theories is correct, in that they all passed out through lack of oxygen then the plane crashed into the see when it ran out of fuel, there would have been a large localised (then) debris field on the sea surface, of lifejackets, cushions etc, which by now will be widely dispersed along the surface currents. I suppose in due course something will wash up on the western coast of Oz.

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-morton-boss-jim-duffy-3573680 My god, how Duffy has changed since I last saw her. Looks like the lifestyle in Greenock is getting to her already.

Aye, corect. Brain wasn't in gear, but you get my drift. What about a police sergeant dog handler called Bilko with a doberman? -

St Mirren's New Manager Is Tommy Craig
Happy Buddie replied to shull's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
I really don't give a feck who the manager is, to a lesser extent don't care who's on the pitch, nor what the politics are behind the scenes, as long as there are 11 players on the park in black and white shirts, playing good attractive football and getting my team as high up in the league as possible, wi' mibbe a decent cup run thrown in. (there are one or two exceptions as far as players go, guys like that ba$$tard Schumacher (the goalie, no' the bad skier) and that durrty ba$$tard Rijkaard, and Barry Ferguson) -
I've seen mention in a few topics of the fact that our financial problems of the late 90s almost meant the Club going out of business, which is when the new board took over. I didn't realise that things were that bad at the time (to be honest my personal life was in a bit of a turmoil at the time as well as pending redundancy, having to move abroad for work), so football was a bit of an irrelevance. I'd like to get a better view of the events then, so can anyone give me some details on the events back then or point me in the direction of somewhere I can find them?

Where Are You Going This Summer
Happy Buddie replied to Isle Of Bute Saint's topic in General Nonsense
Aye, but they filmed the famous bar room scene in Greenock. Apparently they used locals for extras so they could save money on the make-up. I'm heading for Fuerteventura, me n Mrs Buddie have spent 6 weeks discussing costs vs hotels etc, then last night she said can we think about mibbe Greece as well. Eh, no, we've spent 6 weeks narrowing it down to 185 hotels in the Canaries, if we consider Greece as well, we might come to a decision by summer 2018. -

Lesser of two evils, if you count Barry "two fingers" Ferguson as the alterantive. I wonder if Barry sees it a sign of agreement if somebody gives him the vicky? -

Aye, probably, unlike you I don't remember it being in the charts first time round, I wis jist relying on information from my Grampa. -
OK, we stayed up, but I can see that being the same deal at the end of next season, we'll just (mibbe) stay up. Biggest disappointment for me this season was the complete lack of ooomph in the cup competitions, suggesting something amiss to fire the boys up for "one-off" games, so thank god we're not in the play-offs.

New Contract For Lennon - Got To Be 2 Years
Happy Buddie replied to Bud the Baker's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
If the board do decide to move on with a new maanger, it would have to be from the lower divisions, and I think they could do worse than Ian Murray at Dumbarton, he seems to have worked wonders with limited resources in the past two seasons, and eahc time I've heard him on the radio, he's erudite and talks a lot of sense, gives an impression he knows what he's talking about.
