it will be quick and easy and will give you less than a dealer trade in would offer.  The dealers no longer follow the traditional model of inspection and will only give it a quick drive and review of the paperwork before offering anything between £500-2500 more than WBAC.  I took my Honda civic to them last year and got a matching offer for a trade-in from a dealer, thought twice and got 2 grand more from Arnold Clark and that figure  was less than £500 shy of what i paid for it 2 years before-from Arnold Clark!  They didnt even twig that the turbo had a highly probable oil leak (minimum £1200 to fix!).  What i took from that is that you might get a keen price for a used car from AC but any defects are passed on to the next buyer so it pays to get a quick report done on the car.  I used to always call the prvious owner from V45 details but with mobiles replacing landlines and GDPR you cant get to the previous person anymore

He left under a cloud after winding up Alex Miller over wages but was still not as badly treated here as he was at Rangers, that nice man Walter told the press he was sacked before he told Billy.

The main conflict you seem to be wrestling with is the one between the pish you write here and reality itself

It's all down to kibble, they have magical grass-growing properties.
Our pitches have been very good, mostly, over the last 20-30 years due to a succession of top-class groundskeepers and regular investment in drainage and sprinklers since the late 80s

This has been stated before, all of their "investment" went into the pockets of the previous owner.  Any return on that "investment" is for the benefit of Kibble and no-one else

I live out of town and don't get the chance to see much of the infrastructure, could you please point out the infrastructure investments and the physical manifestation of these?  It would also be good to see a list of changes to the operating model and proven benefits that are directly related to each change.

You would suggest wrong,  construction projects are complex with far more parties involved than there are in a small football club like ours.  Regulation is very strong and the price of failure is way higher, sometimes measured in lives lost or ruined.

I believe he had a very varied role at Barr Construction before going into football.  His vision for the club was completely achievable, would  have put us light-years ahead of similar-sized clubs and was beyond the comprehension of the board at the time.

Blame ultimately lies with every SMISA member who hadn't the sense they were born with when they voted to allow kibble in the door.
"some good guys want to help us speed up our purchase and only want to see us succeed with nothing in return"  Yeh, right!
