Frank McGarvey' wonky legs Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Not losing McGinn in the transfer window could turn out to be the best bit of business. If someone came in for him late on this place would have gone into even further meltdown Quote
buddie172 Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Paul Mcginn was offered a bigger wage at Dumbarton than he was at saints. From what I've heard, we missed out big time. Quote
Bud the Baker Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Paul Mcginn was offered a bigger wage at Dumbarton than he was at saints. From what I've heard, we missed out big time. He's almost 4 years older than Naismith and was competing for a place where we already had DVZ & Barron - I wouldn't have pushed the boat out to keep him. I suppose there's still time for him to get a SPFL gig and good luck to him with the obvious exception................. Edited February 7, 2014 by Bud the Baker Quote

rutherglenbud Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Posted February 7, 2014 My work mate is a season ticket holder there and says paul is the best right back that has been at Dumbarton in his lifetime. That's quite a compliment, would have been good to see him link up with his wee bro in the stripes. Quote
Drew Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 We have got a great young right full back. Paul has moved on and good luck to him, but I am not sure he would have started ahead of Jason, who has been something of a revelation this season Quote
