Murray beats Gasquet in the Cincinnati Masters, a rich hunting ground for him when he was at his best.

That's a good win, no doubt, that's him into the last 32.

Fingers crossed he get's at least another 2 or 3 wins, would help his physical and mental confidence.

Murray out against a Polish player I've never heard of before.

Decent game but, as I've said, he's lost what he had.

Murray back in action tomorrow in some diddy tournament against Kyrgios.

Got to be worth a watch, Kyrgios is box office for entertainment.

Kyrgios withdraws VERY late so Murray plays a guy who just lost about three quarters of ah hour.

Would have been better playing one of the crowd.

The on-court MC informs spectators that Kyrgios has withdrawn. Some harsh boos in response. Andy Murray will play lucky loser Noah Rubin in 20 minutes. Rubin only lost his qualifying match against Lucas Pouille about 25 minutes ago.

Murray wins 6-2, 6-0.

Andy has a dodgy hip so needs any bit of advantage he can muster.

Time to put the racket away in a competitive manner.

I loved watching Murray and it’s been great for years with so many brilliant players on the circuit

He was definitely box office, he may sneak a tournament win on the invitational tournaments but can’t see a major

Cheers Murray for great memories

Murray has drawn Tsitsipas in the upcoming US Open.

That's him out then.

Not sure what the future holds, going nowhere fast.

He's just brought out a new set of sports wear, best to stick to that.

Just read the report, Murray very unlucky, losing in 5 after being 2-1 up.

A great pity, beating a player of this standard would have been a massive boost to his confidence.

Ach, got to take something from this, his best performance for quite some time.

Tennis apart, sound like Tsitsipas has taken a leaf from the Djokovic book of cheating.

Watched the whole match . Yes he was unlucky but had the chances to go 2 seats up and let it slip .  Played some fantastic Tennis and looked fit as a fiddle but let Tsitsipas get under his skin with some mind games before last set

He was .unhappy with Tsipitas taking a near 10 minute toilet break and it niggled him throughout the set.

Great effort but just came up short . If he had the mental strength of Federer etc, he would have won .

Radacanu currently in action the quarter finals.

2-3 down against the serve.

No watching it, had enough commandeering the TV last night.

Well, what a turnaround, she's just won 3 games on the trot, including two breaks of serve.

Has a chance to serve out the set,

6-3 first set, could be the real deal this girl. :happyclapper

Well, quite unbelievable, she's only gone and done it, through to the final and, I think, without losing a set.

Hard to put this into any sort of context, had to qualify and has sailed through, and she's British.

Oh, well done @shull with the name change to the thread.

Not by birth (Canada) or parents (Romania & China). But fair play to the lassie. Hope she has a stellar career.
