Discussions between the two clubs have been ongoing for a number of weeks with both parties delighted to reach an agreement that will also see the Shire make use of a number of the Stadium facilities both for training and on matchdays. It is hoped that with East Stirlingshire’s ambitions to enhance their position within the Scottish Lowland Football League and return to the SPFL, the relationship between both clubs will continue to grow and evolve. Craig Campbell, Chief executive, commented: “We are all delighted to welcome East Stirlingshire FC to the Falkirk Stadium. The discussions we have had have been extremely positive and we are looking forward to working together with the club over the coming season. “We believe that the relationship established here has potential to grow further and we will work closely with East Stirlingshire to develop the various opportunities in the months ahead.” Chairman of East Stirlingshire, Alan Archibald commented: “This is an important step forward for East Stirlingshire and one that shows how serious the club are at not only just surviving but building a stable and prosperous future for the club. We have been delighted with the talks with Falkirk FC and the opportunities that have been discussed and explored that undoubtedly will help both clubs and the wider local community”. The new deal will see East Stirlingshire not only play all their Scottish Lowland League matches at Falkirk Stadium but will also see the club base all their training facilities at the stadium from July 2018. East Stirlingshire would like to thank both Stenhousemuir FC who have been our landlords since our departure from Firs Park and also LK Galaxy at Little Kerse where the club have been based recently, both have supported the Shire in many ways for a number of years. Wilbur
Perhaps a misleading thread title, shull. The Falkirk Stadium isn't in Falkirk, it's in Grangemouth.

shull
Hope they get back into the SPFL. And eventually their own new Stadium. Firs Park was one of my favourites in the early 1970's.

Eric Arthur Blair
East Stirlingshire left Falkirk in 2008 when they left Firs Park. Falkirk left Falkirk in 2003 when they left Brokenville. Should they groundshare at the "Falkirk Community Stadium" (to give it its full title) then that's great and had it happened when it was built (and benefited all clubs in the area) then ES might still be a SPFL side but that didn't happen and the stadium is in Grangemouth.
