    9. St.Mirren For Sale

The majority shareholding in the club was up for sale for 7 years! Eventually the shareholding was purchased by Gordon Scott and SMiSA in July 2016 with almost 1300 supporters contributing to the successful bid.

This forum is now really just an archive of some of the threads that took place in that 7 year period.  ps; Anyone mentions the Argies they get banned.

    • So are you saying, again, that the British public are stupid and didn't see this?  Oh, please not the flecking NHS tear jerker again?  Are YOU so stupid that you can;t see the NHS is a bottomless pit?  Anyhow, I'm fed up with talking to a brick, catch ye later.  Just for the record, again, I didn't happen to vote for Brexit, although with Brussels calling the shots in many aspects of life in the UK it was a close call.

    • The British public were sold (very obvious) lies regarding Brexit. Anyone with a shred of understanding knew it would hurt our economy more than benefit it. They knew it wouldn’t mean £100s of millions more a week for the NHS. They knew it wouldn’t bring down net migration & protect our borders.    They also knew in 2019, Bojo didn’t have an ‘oven ready’ Brexit deal & it was reasonable to assume he was lying.    All that came to pass & the fault of the terrible handling of post Brexit vote is squarely with the Tories.    ‘Oh well, we voted for it’ is hardly an excuse for the execution of Brexit.
