Like many others, never went today. And given the radio reports in the car travelling home with the family I'm glad I never bothered. Completely hate saying something like that but until that complete f**king idiot is bagged then the apathy will never lift. Honestly, he makes the likes of H*y and Coughlin look like Mourinho.

Also, Tommy Craig has lost the fans, and gates will continue to drop. Our average for this season is already down on every season since we came back up. So if a new manager does NOTHING except give some optimism - misplaced or genuine, it doesn't matter - then maybe we'll at least get some better crowds and more money through the gate to fund our promotion bid next season.

I don't know of anyone who is keen for TC to remain apart from maybe TopCat on here. Non of my dozen or so St Mirren mates want him to stay.I will do a wee straw poll for you tomorrow of the dozen or so guys that sit around me tomorrow and see what the consensus is. Scientific enough?:-)
This is the first season in my many year's of supporting St Mirren that I would contemplate giving a home game a miss if something half decent came up despite having a season ticket. I was almost tempted to volunteer to take my 2 year old son to a birthday party in Glasgow to avoid having to watch us.:-(

Been thinking about this, and really our league position does not befit our performances this season - we have not had our just rewards. I've done a bit of analysis.
We got our first three points against Partick Thistle courtesy of a dodgy penalty award with the last kick of the ball. Then another point after another last minute dubious penalty against Aberdeen when really we should have been about 5 down by then.
Add to that another 3 points against St Johnstone when they had two perfectly good goals ruled out, followed by a point at home against the brilliant Ross County, when they had another perfectly good goal chalked off for offside which would have put them 2-0 up.
Who says Scottish refs are bastards? We have been jammy feckers this season and should think ourselves damned lucky to have any points at all...
