We have to assume that Alex knows exactly what to expect of agents. The behaviour of this one seems more scummy than normal. Quite right to vent.

I think its more the lure of loot that appeals. At its best Scottish football has a lot to offer. The Hibs cup final was way better to watch than Man Utd.

And add to the mix Munoz mentioned in this thread that Shankland may join Saints permanently with a player and cash going up to Aberdeen. Drew put out Mallen as a suggestion so kind of hangs together and the rest is history.

Its a close call. John McGinn looked really good when he first broke through into the first team. He always seemed to have something about him. A sell on clause is also worth adding to any sale of these young guys as the BoD did with Hibs.

I think he is a very good young talent and I believe that he has a couple of years left on his contract. Kenny and John have both done really well since leaving us so we have a bit of a pedigree now when it comes to developing young players. I would be looking for a bit more than we got for Kenny particularly if we can get some interest from English clubs. So I would be tempted by any offer over £300,000. What do you think Mallen is worth?

Not sure I would take any of the United players. They seem to have all the same frailties that our last lot had. We need the tougher minded players that get pissed off when they lose. Don't know who they are mind you so hope Alex does.

I know. Our team was put together for hee haw and I think the average salary is about £30,000 a year. The Leicester guys will all be multi millionaires and on about £90,000 a week. Different worlds.

The Thommo legend said the same in his final interview. He was saying we should start the season believing we can win it not flaff about hoping for a top 4 finish.

Jason could be a very decent player at right back if he is fit. He seems to look heavier every season though so hopefully the management team will address this in the close season. I think Jason started out as a centre half but for a big guy he doesnt seem any good in the air so he will not be as flexible as Keith Watson. I would like to see Jason signed up for a couple of seasons because he is one that could develop and command a transfer fee if he puts in a season of good performances. Is his contract in its final year?

Pretty sure I read that Gallagher wanted to stay on and he enjoyed being at Saints.
