I support and back the team like every other fan and will continue to do so but unlike some I'm not blind to what's going on. JR has 2 league wins. That is simply an abysmal record to have.

Jim Duffy took over at Morton in League 1. Got them promoted, kept them up and had them on course for the playoffs. JR is on course for his second consecutive relegation from the championship. If you're happy to go down then fine but I'm not, I want to stay up and I don't think saying that a manager that has the record of Jack's to be removed from his post is far fetched. Thinking so doesn't make me a 'knuckle fan'.

I'm sorry if the truth hurts mate. I'll continue to believe that we can get out if this until it's mathematically impossible but the fact is that Jack has had zero impact on the club.

Was really impressed with Stephen when he came on. Was sceptical about him signing but I'll happily take it back if he continues in the manner he's started.

We'll need his composure and experience in the middle of the park if we're to get ourselves out of this.

In my honest and humble opinion, we look un-coached. It looks like 11 players who think they can play a bit just knocking the ball about to each other (and very often to the opposition).
That coupled with the fact that there are no leaders on the pitch does not help.

Unfortunately, a few days getting coached by Langfield and he's a fecking nervous wreck.

Trying not to change the topic of this thread, but refereeing,like any other job, has people who are good at doing it , and some who aren't.
The biggest problem is not the referees themselves, but the framework they have to work within, which hangs them out to dry. We're leaving referees with no option but to guess big calls that affect the outcome of games, like penalties, red cards, etc. With the amount of money swilling about in the game, we really ought to have something in place to help them get it right,  when it matters most.
 
On yesterday, to reiterate, that official had 'mare throughout the game, it's not only the throw in that was the issue.

Attended Saturdays game with , on reflection, an entirely unfounded optimism. I should have known better ! Even after the first 10 minutes or so, it was apparent that Falkirk had better players and more determination. Despite changing about half the team theres still no improvement and it seems last weeks success is a one off. If some team is mad enough to buy Mallan, I suggest any offer is accepted as I fail to see anything in this player. Sutton also is completely out his depth and ought to be released. The goalie, after impressing last week, looked very nervous. Hardly surprising right enough with that defence in front of him.
So yet another £20 squandered although confirmation, if that were needed, of our soon to be status as third tier nonentities. Only Ayr could even be considered as a target for catching now, unless Dumbarton withdraw from the league. There is of course the fall -back position I mentioned recently whereby only games against Ayr and Dumbarton count, in order to try and dupe the fans we are still in with a shout.
Lets see what the last 2 days of the transfer window bring us in terms of recruits, and whether those in charge have already bitten the bullet and thrown the towel into the ring. I certainly have.

Average? He was absolutely rotten, shirked out of challenges the whole game, gave the ball away countless times and was totally ineffective. That's exactly as he has been this season generally.

The reason Mallan attracts more criticism than most in the team is because he has the most natural ability. If he applied himself the way he should he'd be a star at this level. Unless that changes he won't realise his potential.

Rumours the bid was £150k. Undoubtably take it.

I can't imagine being subbed for a player just released by Wycombe, who then looked head and shoulders above everyone else helps his value. Stevie needs to play like he did last week to get his move. Today he looked very average.

Pathetic performance from the team. Not impressed with the GK at all- all this fish nonsense is embarrassing. McGinn did well. Won't be going back for the for the foreseeable future. 
No passion, fight or imagination from this St.Mirren team.

This wasn't a good Falkirk team either. They've won 3 of their last 8 games, and 2 of them were against us.

Was a real chance for us to close the gap on Dumbarton today. Not only could we not close it, we couldn't even keep it the same.

Running out of games.
