We have a sin bin to put anti social prats like this in. I dont always agree with who goes in and why but thats not my call, but in this guys case, something has clearly happened, because he used to be funny, now he is just totally abusive.
Happened before with a certain member who clearly had agendas and was very Anti Saints now gone for good.  So this idiot is back, making what is a thread about our Manager and was merged by our mod into his , to insult other Buddies .
Hopefully soon we get rid of  the another idiot off here, at a time when we need to pull together for the sake of the team, this idiot wants to talk about himself.
Anyway be rid of him soon, and he is to stupid to realise that he is doing all that by himself.............. its actually sad. Because this can be a great forum , and I for one, am seeing some the old crew post less and less on here, simply because of idiots like this guy. Never mind death of a Football Club, he is angling for death of a Football Forum

I hope he fails, as supporting St Mirren you do need a platform to vent , be happy, be suicidal and deluded, usually within the same 90 mins

I think you’re Irish by your liberal use of the work “feck”. Some others have said you’re a taxi driver.  Together that should narrow down the options if you are a St Mirren fan. Can’t be long until you’re identified.  Maybe get some help fella. Sincerely.

I think that now we have all our signings in,and most should be at a decent level of fitness, we should see more consistency in team selection. Hladky, Popescu and Musek are all certain starters due to their performances so far. I wouldn't bet against the new right back making that slot his own as well sooner rather than later, giving us decent defence. Up front I would expect Nazon and Jackson to start most games, with Nazon preferred over Jackson.
Midfield is the area that still provides most problems. Many were pleased with Tansey's signing, and most of those have now written him off completely. He is still a good player, and could still offer something, but we need the likes of McPherson, Lyons and Erhahon to give us energy in the midfield, with the likes of Dreyer and McAllister providing creativity.
I'm not writing us off yet. I'm aware that this patience will be alien to some on this thread, but I've been over this course before and would rather have hope than resignation to see me through.

I thought it was plainly obvious what i was saying    Stubbs spunked our budget on the likes of King and Kpekawa etc,  players no better than amateur level who are both without a club now is anyone surprised, Then there's was the 70k spent on Heaton who Stubbs said he was ABSOLUTELY delighted to have signed beating of stiff competition  our largest fee in 25 year,  and who could forget the wrestler Brock-Masden.... ffs,  As i said even a footballing Genius would need deep pockets to fix the mess he left us in,
So give the manager a break he's not a miracle worker, Oran has improved the squad and no one can argue that, Hladky Popescu Ferdinand the Duck and Jackson Muzek are a class above the shite Stubbs brought us,  The new guys are settling in and hopefully up to speed in a week or 2 when it really matters. in the meantime l'm off

No you didn't, you asked what Oran had shown us, you asked for opinion there is a big difference, I gave you what you asked for there's a fact for you!

Anyway as I said I do not think it is too late but we are getting to that point soon where it will be. Your opinion (Not fact, see the difference) is that it is already too late, my opinion is different that does not make me deluded just hopeful, perhaps you should look up some definitions in the dictionary.

    Here's some facts for you:
We are 6 points behind 10th place
There are 39 points to play for
6 of the 39 points are against the 10th based team

The league is not over till its over, do I think we can stay up? with our form up to now No chance. Am I hopeful with the new players and the improvements that I have seen that we can stay up? Yes I am.

    1. So is that all that matters OR is it how they perform over the rest of the season? Once the next 2 games are over Dee have a horrible run for the next 5 games. Hamilton's bubble will burst once they lose a few on the trot. In the meantime we have started slower, but the Tortoise won the race against the Rabbit Or have you never read that story?
    2. Since you acknowledge we had more to do, does mean there was a screw up appointing Stubbs & signing his duds. So you go through life never making any mistakes? It is how we learn from them that makes us better, stronger etc.
    3. We are 1 win behind Dee and we play them twice having beaten them and drawn with them previously. We are only 2 wins away from Hamilton as well - though our previous team capitulated to them both times previously - interestingly Dee beat them twice previously too.
    4. Oran did not seem to go for some ugly points - you think he tried not to win every single point? Problem was the crap players he had at his disposal to play along with the few better ones, four of whom He signed.
I think you are having a laugh - the prizes are given out at the end of the season - not at the end of the transfer window or 2 games after it . . .

Hindsight is a wonderful talent LPM.  but what makes you think anyone that WE could have appointed could have fixed this mess after Alan Stubbs made a absolute hunt of it. Were not in the market for Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp because thats what it would take, and a war chest of a few million. stop being so negative sir, at least with Elvis we can feel his pain we just hide it better.
Sure Oran could have secured a few more points,, the loss to the Saintees and the no show with Hamilton at home, but lets not ignore the the point against Celtic the 3 against Hearts, the away point at Dundee and Hibs and the win at Motherwell that kept us in touch as the window approached.
His new players have arrived and with most needing games,  What a bonus we got in MY OPINION our fixtures being Celtic and Rangers away and a rejuvenated Motherwell who are flying.  This has given the players games and time to settle,  games we were never likely to pick up any points.
Next up are Aberdeen and Hearts away could it get any tougher, but what a lift it would give the team if we were to pick up a point or 2.... Then Livingston at home
Before the split we have 6 more games, 4 or 5 we are more than capable of picking up points in....  NOW ITS GAME ON.
Remember back to last year the PARTY in the town,  We all came together and showed what can be achieved. We can go down with a whimper and a moan or we can pull together and drag our team over the line,  The fans have massive part to play not just the players and Management, We need to encourage and support the team from the stands and W7 get back to what your good at... we can do this
Anyone fancy a party in May

LPM. He has the same time that he always had. We are further along on a very tight project- and it can be said to be broadly on track. Keep in touch with the league, rebuild, bed the rebuild in, perform and survive. We are at #3 in that list, on time.

PS Anyone who’s been on a management team building seminar is likely to have been given the following phrase to remember stages of team building
    ”forming, storming, norming, performing”
After January we are definitely in the ‘storming’ stage.  Our difficulty is that we need to jump to ‘performing’ sooner than later.

The danger with public backing of a manager (vote of confidence) is that it usually comes as  the last resort before a sacking. So that can also send a negative message and put immediate pressure on the manager.
I think a GLS statement should come soon. It needs to say that the results have not been great but we thank the support for their patience as we recover from early season issues. The team seeking out new players and offloading others have done a fabulous job and we are hopeful that things will click as the new players get up to full fitness and learn to play the way we expect them to. etc etc.
As we gain points - the majority of us will appreciate the honesty and hard work, and breathe a big sigh of relief as we pass the 2 teams currently above us...

It takes one result, if we take anything from Dons or Hearts it will give us a massive boost on the games to come. Why should we beat these teams? They are both on form have far bigger support and budgets as do most in our league. On budget we are 11th, and we are still only 6points off 10th. The gulf is massive unless you have a big fat sugar daddy. Even Livi are showing signs of where they truely should be. Bet you they really struggle next season. Thats why we must settle, we must keep to a plan and if we do ever want top 6 then we must take the pain before the gain. Even if that means relegation this season

Yes, but the moan brigade on here dont represent the vast majority who go week in week out. They are just self indulgent tossers who are bored with day time television. We all need to be constructive, as proven by OUR club, chopping and changing just sets us back. We are not Chelsea for gods sake................. OK knows far better than any of us what needs to happen. i am 100% certain it wont be from lack of effort on his behalf.

Count me in.  Fairweather fans and invetirate moaners do little to show support for the club during difficult times.  Currently however we are in The Top League in Scotland.  The league everyone aims to reach and stay in.  It's tough.  Of course it is.  It's meant to be. Teams are better in this league,  many teams have bigger budgets. Easily fixed if more Saints Fans Turned up and paid their way into the Stadium.  For those debating the old chicken or the egg and which comes first,  football fans can be fickle and want the success before the they turn up.  Being balanced means also acknowledging that numbers have risen year on year over the past 4/5 years.  Now is not the time to stay away.  Now is not the time to crucify the manager.  This is the tough time that might,  Just might see us survive and prosper in this league in years to come.  Wake up and smell the coffee.  This is real life,  not some fantasy. Back the club,  back the manager and back the team. Turn up,  pay up,  make a noise.  If you are unhappy then let the players know it in the traditional way but please stop spreading gloom and despondency on social media channels or through unsociable behaviour.  It only splits the support and weakens interest in the team. Rant over. I

Get ready for a barrage Jaybee
I however will not as I am with you ......... I've said before that OK has taken on a poison chalice with this job and coming in at this time after the  Stubbs single handed destruction of any feel good factor between club and fans by the dismantling of a championship winning side (not saying that they would have been good enough without a few good addition in the premiership) but in truth and I think we all know this the damage was done even before Stubbs with the messing around of our once glorious leader and gaffer  JR who and I don't shy behind the fact that he left us in the lurch at his timing when leaving.........So we can point blame here or there but to what purpose???
Fact is OK has now got HIS SQUAD and to be fair to him he has hardly had the same team on the pitch for more than a week or two at a time due to player movements and injuries.
Now I don't have the luxury or "misery some would say" of seeing our Team play week in week out but what I have seen online has shown some potential and given a few weeks and the return from injury I think this squad has every chance of turning out a good one, now whether there is enough time to save us from the drop and I'm hoping there is, then I think even in fitba there is a place for nice guys with "an edge" that I believe OK has.
I've been a Fan of our club for a million lifetimes and have never ever known our clubs fortunes to be anything other than a roller coaster of a ride so the answer is quite simple if ye canny take the bad wi the bad wi the bad and the odd gem bit of Good then your know cut out to be a St Mirren Fan it's who we are and I'm afraid will continue to be we are a small fish in a big puddle and we continually develop decent young talent both within players and management...........the one constant we have are the "loyal stand fast" at times moaning fans that we are only because we all want the best for the best we big club on the planet.
Come what may we are the ones who will still support this club through "hell or high water" and aye ah know it feels like that a lot ....but as I said that's what makes us fans who we are and WE ARE SMFC77.......
So chin up everybody and get used to it and come back and see me in a million lifetimes when you weathered the storm as some of us have
    KTF Buds
