You could grumble about ther goals we lost which were poor but f*ck it lets dwell on the POSITIVES - Thommo was immense today, seemed to win every ball and it was fitting for him to get the winner. We have magical players in McGowan, Mclean and Mcginn who can make things happen - Newton was more like himself today and that augers well for the future. Defence just needs to settle a bit, Magregor made a few mistakes but I'd give him and Mair a run to establish a partnership. Dilo is brill and couldn't really be faulted for the goals.

I don't think it just about the points this was almost a good performance and its been a long time since you could say that. The team put in a shift and matched up to a very good and inform Aberdeen side. Before the game there was talk of losing 5-0. If you just take the game in isolation, yes disappointing to drop two points but I'll bet all of us would have bit a hand of for a point before the match.
If the boys put in a shift like that every week we'll be ok.

Anyone who doesn't think that was a better all round performance today is kidding themselves. I thought the back three were solid all day and were only caught out at the goal due to Gowser and Teale's calamity in the full back area.
With a bit more composure from Conor we could have been very comfortable by HT.
We're still short up front though. Thommo's isolated up there. Bahoken hasn't got up to the pace of the Scottish game yet and wee Reilly looks lost.
That being said the awful record continues and you genuinely have to wonder how long Lennon can survive now.
Fair play to him for trying to change it up today. A wee rub of the green and things could've been different but it looks like his luck has run out.

Time to get behind the team, the manager, the staff and the BODs both individually and collectively. Every single one deserves nothing other than 100% backing from us as a support and we deserve nothing other than 100% from them in return.
It's time everyone got on board and started pulling the same way.
We've all seen crisis before on numerous occasions, this isn't a crisis, it's just a bigger than average speed bump in the road.

Please don't let this turn into another bitchfest guys, you have seen the message, it came direct from the dressing room. Entirely up to you how you choose to react to it tomorrow.
I know if we get a performance on the park the fans will react. Let's try and help ignite that performance as best we possibly can.

I spoke to one of the players today and he asked me to put a wee note out to the fans.
The players appreciate that everyone is feeling frustrated, they are feeling it too. They are absolutely determined to put it right.
They have asked that everyone gets right behind them from the off tomorrow, whether you appreciate it or not it makes an enormous difference to them.
I think they all feel a bit on edge based on the conversation I had. We need to do our bit to boost that confidence as much as we can.
So, if you are going tomorrow, please put on your positive shoes, and give the team every encouragement from the first whistle.
Hopefully we will see a response.

Is it just me, or does anyone else watch the footage of the Newton strike in slow motion shot from behind, and think 'this time it will swerve outside the post and miss'?
Just as he hits it... it cannot go that straight, it cannot arrow just inside the post like a bullet - can it? One day, it will miss, it will finish 2-2, and we'll lose on pens.

I'm still fuming about a fecking parking ticket I got for parking on Moss Street last Saturday...
A: It was a Saturday
B: It's on the specifically constructed parking/cobbled parking bays from Dooleys up to Grumpy Monkey
C: Apparently only half that space is pay & display parking bays, roughly to just outside the indian restaurant, the rest is yellow line and disabled priority.
D: The official P&D parking bays are free at the weekend, but the machines will still take your money and issue a ticket
E: I bought a ticket and parked, not spotting the partial yellow line outside barber shop.
F: Why the feck are parking bays free but yellow line policed on a Saturday ?
G: The yellow line is broken and needs repainted ( I genuinely didn't see it and genuinely bought a ticket)
No wonder folk won't come to Paisley when you have to put up with this bullshit. Why go to the bother of actually constructing an inshot for the purposes of parking a vehicle and then create a confusing scenario that's clearly designed to rip the pish out of unsuspecting motorists ? I've only had two parking tickets in the last ten years, both in Paisley, the last one was because I failed to read the small print on all of those 'Free Festive Parking' posters they had up in all the shop windows around christmas time, a ticket issued on xmas eve, once again in a designated inshot parking bay in the town centre.
ETA: My paid for ticket was fully valid, I was only away from the car for 20 mins and had 12 mins left on my ticket compared to the time stamp on the parking fine. The warden could have interpreted the situation better (IMHO). Even if I was partially on a f*cking single yellow line that you'd need a member of Time Team to expose for you, such is the nick of it !

Just been down to the Post Office.It was mobbed with people panic buying stamps.

As I keep saying "DON'T PANIC" the union need to give 7 days notice prior to a strike.
