I agree with that.... I'm sure we're more than a minority of two...........
As said earlier some where in one of my ramblings it singularly slays me how we can wait over a year for back to back wins, go on a wee run of 7pts from 9 then capitulate so depressingly on Saturday.
Thankfully I was not in attendance but a couple of things are obvious from the highlights.......
Saints fans are booing the ineptness of the display
I also think the highlights actually played us up a bit. I'm led to believe it could have been about 7-0, we were worse than the highlights showed.
For the length of time we have now been in the top league it is high time we were better 'established ' than winging it and hoping to avoid play offs. For me our inability to show some consistant progress is the biggest frustration. At this rate we will clearly be the longest serving top team league member never to become established in this division. Ross Co , St Johnstone and Partick Thistle ffsake, all look like they belong there before us................frankly , that just ain't right imo.
Don't please tell me it's all about budgets............................

Acht well, the routine pumping for us , after a wee steadying of the ship it is back to earth with the usual shudder..............now we look on and try to restore some credibility in the league campaign. Genuienly shocked at our apparent capitulation yesterday.
Our aim has to be as high a league finish as possible, we do not seem interested or motivated though , week after week to produce interested and positive performances. That bothers me.
We have had a long enough time in the SPL by now to mean that a consolidated SPL team should be looking at a comfortable 8th. I'm not sensing that just now, for me that is the problem.
It seems It is blindingly obvious that St Mirren only produce or seem to be motivated when the next crisis looms. It looks to me like week in week out solid performances in the league are something alien to us, impossible for us to attain. I don't think it is good enough to survive via play offs, we have to be better than that by now, but we currently are clearly not.
Serious work requires to be done ..................

That was less to do with independence and everything to do with replacing a wife beating bastard and the party he was attached to.
You might be right though. It could have been independence.
I just don't think so. Nobody cares about independence yet.

you know for sure that the guy is gonna claim credit for this. Gawd what a farce, there must be a fair few hundred Unite members binned their cards.
Thankfully , whatever the rights and wrongs , it is now undeniably a victory for common sense

100 plus laid off by Babcock's this afternoonat Grangemouth ..............fallout continues. This added to over 100 Scaffolders who btw on their way out lobbed their Unite cards on the Officials desk, thanks very much !!
Don't see this kind of detail making any part of Unite's soundbites.....................

    quite.
Working late shifts , working on call , working various shift patterns 24/7............end result a total salary package built on shift allowances and bonuses then used and presented out of context to discredit those people who earned it......shameful, as are a lot of the tactics used around this dispute, but, sadly, totally predictable.
I mean what the feck did Unite think they would achieve by badgering and heckling banks who deal with INEOS, their suppliers , the home village of Jim Ratcliffe and leafletting all the local shops and his hotel and it's customers. Well a great tactic , well played, if alienating the man and his key players completely from their 'social responsibility' was the end game. Honestly , it's the tactics of playground squabbles all this.
We have two sides firmly entrenched in their view and their own end game. All this brinkmanship and posturing is pure noise, the colateral damage is unfortunately possibly people's livelihoods.
There will imo be a recovery fix applied, there is no way that the economic footprint of Grangemouth will be allowed to be lost. What is going to be equally tiresome now though is watching all those involved scrambling for the moral high ground and the political point scoring no doubt forthcoming.

I was in the main stand on saturday, ( urgh ) guest of a Jambo mate, two things very noticeable on Saturday as I cringed in my seat amongst the bile and sheer underestimation of the Hearts fans about St Mirren's ability.
1.Goodwin got dogs abuse and some of the stuff spewed from the mouths, some from kids, some who must have been parenmts/ grandparents, well it was horrendous. Grudging acceptance that Goodwin would start for Hearts each week, they ' need someone like him'
    2. There is a growing realisation amongst the Hearst more honest supporters, they are stuffed ! Loads of the Hearts fans up and left not long after the second goal.Their belief took a hammer blow on Saturday
The more honest fans amongst the Jambpo hordes , who were impressive early on, admit to hating Billy Brown , his tactics and his team influence, Gary Locke is a legend , but considerd not too clever.
Things look better for us, double pat oin the back from me to DL. Now the unthinkable looms..............back to back wins !!!!!

About time for some positivity. It looks like the young keeper is our new number 1 after being picked yesterday and delivering a good performance.
He is one of the few positives for me this season. He looks like he's going to be a great keeper, he's big, commanding and a good shot stopper. He's only 19 though so hopefully the fans will be patient with him initially, if he settles in and adapts and develops like he should he could be our number 1 for years to come.
    Dilo! Dilo! Dilo! Congratulations Christophe

Good attitude last night , all looked focused. I was heartened by everyone , the team the management , our overall approach. I like the look of our young keeper.
The whole balance of the team looked better, smoother and more comfortable. Age old problem , concentration lacking at key times and stray give away passes.
We could have wrapped that up at two nil , yet towards the end it nearly all left us again !
Last night was the nearest to a performance that I've seen from us this season
Heh hoh, take it and build on it , maybe a surprise result is on the near horizon.
Satisfied and happy to give DL a pat on the back for that , just a single pat mind you..........

It's the communication to the defence that impresses me the most his saves were pretty routine the best being the free kick but at a young age he looks very good
