Soctty reacted to bluto in New French Keeper
Did you not see the save he made from.... Charlie Mulgrew was it?This season, I think...
A cup match, I think it was. Just after HT. Was it the semi final... Of one of the cups?
Mibbe you're right, though: Sammy disnae deserve to be in a game-winning group that includes Combe and Gallacher...

Soctty reacted to Desperately Seeking Susans in Buddie Arrested For Free Speech!
When I emerged from Mill St, E=MC2 was waiting for me. When he told me the final score...it was an uplifting sensation
As you can probably appreciate, it's not prudent for me to comment at this time but will do so at a more appropriate time. Thank you.

A football match is no place for shouting what he shouted, but anyone defending the arrest is an arse.

I for one won't be buying it. No arm holes, no neck hole, just a square of cloth with some pretty patterns on it? No thanks. Is this what it's come to? Scrimping and saving on material to the extent that it's just a rag to be stapled to the players midriff before games. It's an absolute disgrace. I blame SMISA - they've done nothing to secure the availability of a full strip for our team.
I'm sure I'll be jeered by all the many tens of thousands of St Mirren fans who know me from my posts on the forum, and will probably have rotten eggs and shoes thrown at my wife and kids, but that won't stop me from voicing my concerns at this debacle.

Just noticed a big homemade sign at the big roundabout in Houston , it says " Thommohawk Believe". .
Also noticed 3 cars with SMFC stickers on them on my way to the petrol station this morning , which is great since , normally you wouldn't know that you are in Saint Mirren Land. .

The forum has been fantastic this week. Everyone oozing with excitement, positivity and togetherness.
It's been absolutely superb.
We can't get to a cup final every week, or even every season, and of course we have no divine right to win the cup on Sunday either, but it would be great if the place retained a wee bit of this unity after the final whistle has blown, whatever the result.
We are stronger when we are all together supporting our fantastic football club.
COYS !
