Just want to check, it was us who had the ability to score 3 goals from open play was it not, and to achieve that you certainly have to be the best team, because the object of the game is putting the ball in the net, our players , as a team, managed that on 3 occasions, Alloa once, and that was from a dubious penalty. Only one set of deserved winners in my opinion, and it certainly was not Alloa, the players done the job yesterday and deserve praise for that - not derision that suggests they fluked it, it was no fluke it was 3-1 to the Saints.

I can only assume that it's because everything else you say is so hard to believe.

I think when you get involved with any organisation surrounding the football club you have to expect to get shot at.
I was quite taken aback as to what happened during the 10000Hours bid, and I only got about 1% of the abuse that the likes of Richard took.
The guys at SMiSA, The Disabled Supporters Association and at the Fans Council are all giving up their own time to try their level best at making the club better. Like everyone else, they will make mistakes sometimes and do things that individuals won't like.
You'll never get all fans to agree on anything (apart from perhaps the sacking of Tommy Craig) but as long as the people making the decisions in these organisations are thinking things through and still aiming to do their best for the club then they'll always get my support.
Same as the people who run the supporters buses, same as the people who try and introduce atmosphere at the ground.
These people are all trying to do their best for the club and they're doing it for no reward.
I'd definitely like to see all the organisations work together more, I'm sure they could all learn from each other.

Look at the number of players we've offloaded, that most of our support have thought were "shite" and that have gone on to do well for other teams.
Maybe it's our turn to bring the best out of a player.
I'm not exactly over enthused by our signings, but it's where we are at the moment and I hope that Rae has the skills to make them work for us.

I've often thought some of the 'Ultra' groups, particularly Motherwell's, seem to think the game is more like an audition for the X Factor than paying any attention to the game, but then I realise that I'm just turning into a cynical, grumpy old fart, who's been tainted by years of disappointment while watching St Mirren.

We need to remember what caused this wholly unsavoury episode before we start crucifying McGinn. His relation ship with the club was ended when another member of staff maimed him. We can accept this was an accident but it does seem to me and hance probably to McGinn and his advisors that the perpetrator has got off very lightly in this whole sorry affair and has even been "rewarded" with a new contract. As many have said in other threads had it been anyone but Thommo this may well have played out very differently.

I've no problem with Celtic using the stadium and us making commercial gain out of it. None at all.
What I DO have a problem with is the Celtic Crest being placed on our walls at the expense of a St.Mirren crest.
This is beyond the value of any commercial deal in my opinion. Very poor decision.
