  1. Let us not forget our very own Jack Ross' part in the 2010 Cup Final dilemma, the mark of a leader and winner is standing up for himself and his teammates.
  2. Smaller lad next to tall new bloke looks unfamiliar too, initial thought was Danny Mullen but spotted him elsewhere in photo?
  3. The myth of Reilly being some kind of Championship superhuman is exactly that - a myth. He had a short period of time where he scored a reasonable amount of goals - 11 in the league I believe... this is by no means the kind of form that shows he would've set the Prem alight, especially considering my biggest problem with his play was his tendency to be muscled out of games, this would've simply been magnified in a more physical league. Nothing to do with ego, quite simply if and when our starting first choice striker requires subbing next season, Danny Mullen will be a far more suitable option to bring on and hassle defenders, make runs, and hold up the ball.
  4. Not the standard we need for Premiership. Mullen is a far more rounded player and more of a 'project'. Added into the fact Reilly has held out for well over a month with an offer on the table. Best thing for all parties.
  5. Usual paper talk banding about the usual tired names. I suspect we may see some unexpected names in the shortlist as has been the case in recent times. Of the mentioned names McIntyre is most appealing IMO (although even he has led a poor Pars team and built a poor County team as recent as last season). Hopkins should be avoided like the plague - a puppet for the real genius behind the scenes (who also happens to carry some baggage). I suspect should this management team be put in place and the anticipated tactics that would inevitably follow make their way to the 2021 then it wouldn't be long and supporter feel-good factor would evaporate...
  6. Alloa train 2 nights a week - from Jim Goodwin himself on Alba. Sometimes it's better just to admit you're wrong.
  7. 3-0 vsUnited in August - something special around the whole club mentality happened that day.
  8. You forgot about our Identity (which by the way, I've yet to see)
  9. I'd keep a select few from this team. Pathetic. Not Lennon's fault that the players can't keep a lead to save themselves.
  10. Agreed. The season isn't done yet. Imo most managers would to get decent results with half of the playing squad deciding to revolt mid-season...
  11. There's about 4 people left in the entire fanbase who still stand by Lennon so I don't know where you are getting this from about the hypocrites and their "criteria"?
  12. Shame that the vast majority don't care. Could probably count on one hand how many actually show any passion or desire to win.
  13. If we give the job(s) to T&T we are finished in the top league. Either bring in a proper manager or don't bother. Also, what happened to the point about DL being too friendly? Surely that point should be put to bed considering T&T are mates with the players and bound to be even more friendly?
  14. Kello, McGinn, Naismith, Kelly, Dilo, Goodwin, Thompson and McGregor.
  15. Danny has lost any respect he ever had from the players and fans, the relationship is now broken beyond repair, We need a change for the sake of him, the fans and the club. Although, when the players can't kick their own respective backsides it won't make a difference.
  16. Or you could say we're sitting 9th and have lost 2 in 11 at home, with several new signings still to bed in and arguably our best attacking threat returning from injury. Add into that we have games against our rivals coming up with a chance to push away from the dreaded play-off spot. .
  17. If a replacement for Lennon is what we seek then Murray is not the answer. Sideways step.
  18. Saturday was Mair's best performance for us. Well Done Lee!
  19. Did I not say Managerial skills aside? Yes. Yes, I did indeed.
